I was rewatching the official launch trailer when I saw some weapons that shouldn't have been there (I think).
At several moments (such as 0:41) you see a guy with a Triglav. At 0:55 you see a gall briefly wielding a Crowbar that looks supiciously like a banhammer...
And there was one more that escapes me at the moment, but whatever. Thoughts?
umm thoughts on what exactly? there was no triglav the triglav came out half a year after the release and yes that was a crowbar obviously held by one of the GMs there is nothing in this thread to think about
At around 0:55, you see a girl with crowbar and a guy above her with a triglav. This trailer was made before the introduction of triglav, so there is something weird going on.
I thought it was shown that OOO generally has content ready LONG before release?
Actually, that's not a Triglav. It doesn't have the ice on it, it's just blue. That is still in spiral spy, and appears to be a scrapped skin of the Sundaruska.
I grabbed a screenshot of the weapon from the trailer. That is definitely not a Triglav. It's a completely separate 5* Troika-type sword that has (very rarely) been seen wielded by GMs. The charge attack causes a lightning bolt to strike where the sword hit, and I think someone has a screenshot of a GM using the charge attack on Vana buried somewhere in the forums.
This is the crowbar you asked about. It's the trademark GM weapon, the Ban Stick. Here's a video showing just how ridiculously powerful it is.

I saw that thread before! But someone said the lightning strike was cropped from the old Shocking Edge charge, which shot lightning.
And isn'[t the Ban stick called a ban hammer?
Does this mean that the players in the trailer are all GMs?

not every one in the trailers are gms at 0:39 and elemental damage bar is shown and we all know gms dont take damage proven in the video of the banstick
Well why would they show OP invincibility in the official trailer when it would just looks stupid? You don't see them using mouse-control movement like they do in the vana video because it would just wierd the crap out of watchers XD
Often when making game videos, you show content that is in progress. That includes things that are finished, too, but it's all "in progress" if it's not released yet. Not everything makes it out the door, and that can be due to a number of reasons. Don't get too insulting about why things aren't released. Regardless of the reason, a designer made a call to remove it from the game, at least currently.
It's cool to dig through videos and stare in wonder at what may have been, just don't expect that just because something was once made that it HAS to be added to the game.
Btw, it's not a Triglav, it's a Shatter. Wasn't anyone in this thread around near launch? Anyway, I'd love a Shatter, wanted one since launch, but like I said, design decisions are made, and it's probably a good idea for the devs to not speak about every decision, as that tends to turn into arguments from "fans" very quickly.
