can anyone help me fix my lag?

is there any way to lessen all this lag i have? its gotten so bad that i cant even play in parties. i have to play solo and even then lag still kicks my butt sometimes. is there a way to change the video settings ingame or maybe something i can do to my computer to help fix this problem?

If the lag is due to your computer:
1. Turn down your resolution
2. Graphics quality low
3. Enable vertical sync off
4. Render effects off
5. Compatibility mode on
6. Cull transients on
7. Anti Aliasing 1x
If you haven't already, put graphics quality at "low"
My suggestion would be to go to Advanced Options and check the box for "Cull Transients". It actually worked wonders for me, but there are a few problems. The Patch Notes say, "This is an experimental toggle which could improve game performance in complicated levels. When enabled, there will likely be some side effects where certain graphical and audio effects will not be played. "
