The Spiral Peace Keepers had just fought their way to the terminal at depth four without too many casualties. Mario had been hit quite a few times but overall he was alright. They got to depth four just to meet up with some other knights. The group met up with Theonebackthere, or Theo as Mario liked to call him, who was leading a party of himself and a young knight named Royal-Kirby, and another knight named Frosty-Flames. Royal-Kirby had a Tailed Spiral Helm and a Spiral Culet on, both yellow in color. Kirby had a Hot Edge and a Frost Gun and Kirby had a purple personal color. Kirby and Theo were pushed on the elevators even though they tried to stay and help. Theo was wearing Vog Cub armor and a Grey Owlite Shield with an Avenger, Silversix, and a Gigawatt Pulsar. Theo's eyes lit up when he saw his friends. "Guys I was so worried that you were dead! I would've helped but Kirby and I were shoved on the lift."

Mario looked around and realized there were nine knights. The limit was four per party. Someone had to adventure on their own, without help. Mario decide as Guild Master of Spiral Peace Keepers he should go alone. There were to groups, one had Theo, Lady, Megaorder, and Kirby. The other had Lordvalkar, Ember-Knight, Hyrdro-Tanker, and Frosty-Flames. He left the party after many "goodbyes" and journeyed on to see what horrible fate lie ahead, scared of what would become of himself, and his guildees, but they kept up with each other via guild chat. They seemed to do alright, but they were taking on injury after injury, when Mario hadn't even fought yet.

Indigo sat in an undiscovered part of the Clockworks, or mostly undiscovered. The knights who came here died usually from Wolver after Wolver. Fortunately Indigo was born with the ability to speak to wolvers so they considered her a sister, basically. He wore the Armor and Crown of the Fallen Gear and used an Aegis. Indigo preferred swords over every other weapon type and used an Acheron, a Glacius, and a Leviathan Blade. He retreated into the Clockworks as soon as he crashed, and stayed in the Clockworks. Indigo had a best friend of all the wolvers, and his name was Cyan. Coincidentally, he was the only wolver with Cyan colored eyes. Indigo and Cyan were sitting together when a red knight came crashing down on the elevator. They were going to attack but they could sense he felt like he was in danger. Cyan told Indigo, "That knight looks like he could use help. And fast too, look at the poor kid, wandering like a lost wolver puppy."

Indigo looked at the knight and hopped up and ran over to him. Unfortunately, Mario thought that it was a rogue knight attacking with a wolver. He tried to attack the wolver but his blade was met by Indigo's Leviathan Blade, which threw Mario's Silent Nightblade out of his hands. Indigo kicked Mario over while Cyan prepared to attack him but waited. "I....I thought you were a rogue" Mario coughed. "I figured you and this wolver were going to hurt me and maybe kill me. Ever since the arcade incident I've been on high guard."

Indigo looked at him doubtfully. "What happened in the arcade? I've heard wolvers muttering about it. They said, "We got even with those knights for killing our kind! We used our greatest weapon and they're on the verge of defeat now!"

Mario's mind was blown. She could talk to wolvers? "So I suppose you and your dog are going to come with me? I could use a partner or two," Mario said looking at Cyan and Indigo.

"Fine, we'll help you, but from now on we don't attack wolvers because they're our friends now. You're protected by us, therefore you don't hurt our friends."

Lordvalkar's team was in pretty bad shape. Lordvalkar had a dented helm which kept him from seeing out of his left peripheral vision. Hydro-Tanker had to be carried by Frosy-Flames, and Ember-Knight wasn't hurt at all. 'If we stay alive it will be a miracle.' thought Lordvalkar. Sniper, a snipe, sat on Lordvalkar's helm and helped in battle to compensate for Frosy and Hydro. They got to a castle that hadn't been discovered before by knights and went inside looking for help. They managed to get halfway into the castle according to Lordvalkar's estimates and then Frosty tripped. A wire snapped and many metallic balls came from the sides of the hall, crushing Frosty-Flames and Hydro-Tanker underneath them.

Lordvalkar took off running trying to escape with Ember-Knight far ahead of him. A mini jelly cube came out of nowhere and tripped Lordvalkar and he was hit in the head by a lead ball. The last memory Lordvalkar had was being carried off by Ember-Knight deeper into the castle.

Lordvalkar woke up in front of a campfire. Not only was he hurt but his helm was extremely dented. Lordvalkar tried sitting up but his head ached. He looked around and saw Ember-Knight looking around the room with his back to him. "Hey Ember, how long was I knocked out? Please tell me it wasn't long."

Ember turned around and saw Lordvalkar. "Oh well, four days to be honest. But the library here helped me figure out what the beasts that attacked Haven were. They're what's known as Vogs. They were thought to have been killed off, but they lived apparently."

Lordvalkar turned and whispered, "They must be taking revenge on us for killing Vog Cubs." He looked down at his Vog Cub coat and sighed. "So it must be our fault that we were attacked."

Mario, Cyan, and Indigo had fought their way through the Snarbolax, Roarmulus Twins, and even two arenas in a row. "We have such bad luck. I swear we're cursed," Mario panted. He kicked a gremlin and then shot a few more before sitting down. They got to the Terminal at Depth 23 and Mario collapsed.

Cyan barked happily at Kozoma and Basil, while Indigo sat next to the collapsed Mario. "Not very impressive there, Guild Master. Maybe you should stick to eating mushrooms and throwing fireballs. I'm just saiyan," a voice said from down the hall near the Shadow Lair lifts.

Mario lifted his head up. "I know that voice," Mario whispered. He took off down the hall looking for the person he thought he knew. "Hello? Collgeta? I know your voice! Come out, come out wherever you are!"

Indigo looked at Mario as he ran away. "He'll probably get himself KO'ed. He has a talent for that," Indigo mumbled. She drew her Leviathan Blade and ran after Mario and Cyan was close behind.

Mario met a knight with the Scary Skelly Gear and laughed. It was, of all people, Officer Collgeta. "I was in the Clockworks when I heard over the guild chat on my Com Unit that Haven was taken over," Collgeta said.

"Who told you? I didn't hear it." Mario said.

Then Cyan and Indigo ran in and Collgeta attacked Cyan. Indigo hit Collgeta with the flat of his blade and Mario held him back. "STOP! That wolver will kill us all! Look at eyes, they're full of evil!"

"They're full of color, actually. And, he is my best friend and partner. His name is Cyan and I'm Indigo. I suppose you know your Guild Master, Mario." Indigo said looking at the crazed Collgeta.

"You've been in the Clockworks too long. Ya know, you can come with us, we go and slay monsters until we regroup with the others later." Mario said. Then Mario's Com Unit rang. "Hello?" Mario said.

"Mario! I know what the monsters are. They're know as Vogs and they're killing us because we killed the Vog cubs for coats." Ember-Knight said quietly.

"Mario?" A new knight rang in. "It's Royal-Kirby here and my team is at depth 13. We've regrouped with Ember-Knight's group. Come here and let's start a plan to avenge Haven."

Collgeta listened on her Com Unit and headed to the elevator with Cyan, Mario, and Indigo, but not before they were blocked by a full-grown Vog itself.

"Don't suppose your book had a guide on how to kill a Vog?" Mario said.

"HA! No....Why?" Ember-Knight said.

Then the Vog charged and Mario and Collgeta hung up. Collgeta jumped on the Vog's back and beat its head with her gun, to no avail. Mario and Indigo attacked the Vog's side while Cyan distracted it. Then Mario used his Silversix and hit the Vog near its shoulder blade. The Vog fell and died, leaving behind a Vog Tooth Grill. "Yes! I need one of these for the Guild Barbeque!"

Mario looked up. "Is now really the time to plan for a barbeque?! Is it?!" Mario screamed. "Sorry, its just, Ember Knight said Hydro-Tanker and Frosty-Flames died," Mario said as he looked away from Collgeta.

Cyan barked over and over, and Indigo translated it to, "We should get on the renovator. Renovator? Cyan there are no renovators around here!" Cyan barked again. "Oh my bad, Sorry Cyan. We should get on the elevator. That makes more sense, doesn't it?"

The group laughed as they got on the elevator and headed to Depth 13 to plan for the revenge they were going to take on the Vogs that were occupying Haven.

Indigo, Cyan, Mario, and Collgeta got to Depth 13 and met with the other 2 groups. Then, Ember-Knight pulled out a whistle. The whistle looked charred and red like fire underneath the ash on the whistle. Ember blew the whistle and a high pitch noise echoed throughout the room and then things started crashing above them. All at once, Vogs fell from above and began attacking the knights. Mario and his group were doing fairly well until the second wave of wolvers came in. Every single knight was overwhelmed at once and poor Royal-Kirby was thrown over the edge of the room. Megaorder was doing well, but was hit from behind and KO'ed. Then another crash was heard from above.

"Oh great, more wolvers! Just what we need, right Collgeta?" Mario shouted while grinning.

"No! Why would we need even more wolvers? Oh, wait... Oh, that was sarcasm. Well, I think the more the merrier! Just Saiyan though," Collgeta said.

Then, a saint (or close to it at that time) dropped from above. It was Atgatg! Mario's pal, Atgatg! "The elevators were broke so I climbed down through the clockworks. That was NOT easy." Atgatg shouted as she fell.

Atgatg's arrival put new energy into the knights. Suddenly one knight fought like ten. Mario and Indigo ended up back to back in the midst of the fighting and were taking down Vogs like a boss. Then a Vog picked up Ember-Knight and tossed him over the edge of the room and he fell into the void of clockworks as he screamed. Mario took down Vogs as Indigo and Cyan distracted them. Atgatg didn't fight like ten knights she fought like thirty.

"I was clearing these things outta Haven when I heard that shrill little noise and the Vogs took off running. I ran after them and ended up here. The other knights of the Rebellion against Vogs are still fighting the remaining Vogs in Haven. It's funny, all of the Game Masters have disappeared completely except for Coriolis and Eurydice. They were fighting the Vogs, but there are so many Vogs its hard to use a Ban Stick on them all."

"So if we make it back to Haven there's a resistance to go back to? Sweet! There's hope yet for us knights!" Indigo said.

The knights fought on for hours and the Vogs were finally eliminated, but the elevators still weren't working. So, the only fix for it was to travel through the Clockworks the way Atgatg had come. They ventured up through the clockworks into the Arcade, and there was a camp set up. The doors were barred and wolvers were outside snarling and barking at the knights inside. Indigo and Cyan ran off to check everything out in the Rebellion Camp.

"Eurydice, Coriolis, I brought some friends with some impressive skills! They took on a whole army of Vogs and won!" Atgatg shouted.

Eurydice and Coriolis came out of a tent and walked over to the group of knights. As they were standing there, the Vog attacks ceased. One Vog remained, one bigger than any other Vog in existence and he wore a crown. He began barking and Indigo began translating.

"He says he wants to challenge us to a seven on seven showdown, and loser must retreat into the Dock works. Dock works? Wait, Clockworks, my bad. Anyway, he says choose any seven knights and he'll choose his seven Vogs for the showdown. He says he hopes you lose. Now he wants to know if you agree. Do we agree?"

"Atgatg and I will fight!" Mario shouted.

"I didn't agree to that, but okay." Atgatg said.

"We agree to fight!" Coriolis and Eurydice shouted.

"I may not be the strongest knight on Cradle, but I will fight for us!" Collgeta shouted.

"And Cyan and I will too." Indigo said. "I guess we agree to fight then?"

"Yes," Eurydice said.

Indigo barked at King Vog and he left with the message saying he would fight too. Then the knights began preparing for the upcoming battle that would decide their fate and every knight's fate.
