The greaver is from a boss in Legend of Zelda(loz) the silkwings are from the butterflies in loz, the trojans are from those guardian statue things in loz, the twisted snarvle barb is a refrence to the jabberwockey, the Grand Faust is a refrence to the 13th century german necromancer Faust who sold his soul to the devil, the lockdown power-ups is a refrence to the power ups you pick from pedestals in loz, the party button and porbably the ellevator is from loz, cllockworks idea from clockwork knight, charging weapons from loz, bombs from loz, helms and armor from bomberman, candles from loz, switches from loz, drones from loz, gun puppies from loz(maybe) lichens from loz, almiranian guards from loz, and many more i might add. So SK is pretty much Legend of Zelda online...
Let's find it all! (References about other games, people, movies, whatever)
HEY! LISTEN! ~~
Necromancy is NOT bad as long as you add to the thread in a meaningful way, especially if a lot of information has been put on the thread. Why make a new one and link when you can just use the old one?
In some scenario rooms with a knight standing alone and shaking, he'll sometimes say "I didn't ask for this."
Description: "When swarmed by Ice Cubes, all knights agree, happiness is a Fiery Pepperbox."
/e checks wiki.
Accurate enough.
Isn't there a song named "Happiness Is A Warm Gun"?
The Beatles. Happiness is a warm gun
I'm still almost afraid necroing is against the ToS. Even though it's not listed there.
Actually this new Grinchlin Assault mission with its "Mount Krampus" is a reference from an old folklore story about Santa Claus actually being a beast with horns. Recently in the show Grimm, this story was put into play in which Grimm captured the "Krumpas" (I just love how the team slightly changes the name of things :D)
^^ Nuff said
The danger mission Ghosts in the Machine. Isn't that part of a quote from the movie I, Robot? I remember it was from Doctor Lannings. In the movie, Lannings said the machines will one day evolve and come alive, with thoughts and free will. Makes sense with the mission.
Goes much further back than I, robot. Before that it was Ghost in the Shell. 'Fore that it was literally ghosts in the machine, can't recall the time of that one's make but the essential setting follows the whole future cyborg/human scenario. Where one must question the validity of their own intelligence and ideology about how souls set us apart from machines or hyper-complex viruses. Or in the case of OOO, "ooooo robots coming to life and having free will"
For some reason, I can't stop thinking of Divine Avenger as being a reference to Holy Avenger.
