So in your opinion, what are the most hipster 5* armor and weapons you can think of? By hipster I mean the ones people don't use often, costume usage doesn't count. I'll start:

Shield: Heater Shield
Sword: Wild Hunting Blade
Gun: Neutralizer
Bomb: Irontech Destroyer
Radiant Silvermail being hipster? I really don't think the only armor that has shadow and piercing is truly hipster with how many people I've seen use it.

Shield - Dread Skelly Shield
Sword - Winmillion / Fearless Rigadoon

@Noogard the only place where Radiant Silvermail is good is Snarby Shadow Lair. Unless you use it there or in combination with a normal + elemental armor, it's strange to have it.
I don't agree with Dread Skelly Shield. It's the only shadow shield before farming Vanaduke, and its status resistance are great in combination with CoA : take the one with the right status resistance for the upcoming level. As fiends are dangerous, and only a few of them can break a shield very fast, it's not a bad idea to have those 2 shadow shields. And I often see people using it, I'm not alone on this.
Fearless Rigadoon is rare but not inexistant. In LD, someone stunned is as good as dead. I saw some people using it for that very reason.
Sentenza is far from being a Hipster gun. In fact, it's probably the shadow gun of choice for gremlins. It's easy to use and have good damage too...
Iron slug : I would be tempted to agree, as I don't remember seeing one ever, but I noticed several poster advising it.
While the Wild Hunting Blade is pretty hipster,it aint got NUTHIN on The Cautery Sword!!!though the Triglav makes a close ssecond...As for shield,Im pretty sure that the elusive Darkfang Shield wins that category.As for gun,id have to say the Volcanic Pepperbox.Only seen one Volcanic pepperbox user.

Those are my hipster weapons. (Unsure if Suda is un-hipster now because it's actually really good now.)
The Silvermail line is a real hipster set. Only seen it once, on a guy named after some obscure indie band.
But the king of hipster armors is the Grey Feather. I have never seen it whatsoever, and it is never on the AH.
As for weapons, Winmillion and CIC are hipster equips. Mainly because the CIC/CIV is dwarfed by Leviathan in terms of sheer power. However, they look pretty boss IMO.

Not in my experience. I've seen it a couple of times (on par with Chaos before the buff) and there was one on the AH just a couple days back.
I'd wager that the elemental chroma lines don't see much real use due to their wildly inappropriate damage bonuses. I'm ready to be corrected, though.
Constructs and Jellies can often be found together which is nice for the Radiant Silvermail. The main place it shines though is PVP where Pierce is the main damage followed by Shadow. Elemental is somewhat rare and normal is non-existant alone.
I think I've only seen the Dread Skelly Shield once. I've seen Heater Shield several times however so I was going merely on experience. It seems to me that most people don't care to get the shield and instead get the Blackened Crest.
Well I've still never seen it used once. Winmillion is by a long shot more common and I use the WHB myself.
Well it's still the gun I find the least. I personally find the Antigua guns to be incredibly weak and lackluster. It seems to be well surpassed by the Umbra Driver and the Biohazard in popularity and damage. I've seen Neutralizer and Volcanic Pepperbox multiple times and have a friend who owns and uses both. The Callahan is also pretty uncommon and would be less common if it weren't for the fact it looks awesome imo. The stun sucks bad though.

Oh, and I had sentenza before it got buffed. It was considered "hipster" back then. I HAD IT BEFORE IT WAS COOL! :D

There's a difference between hipster and terrible. Hipster means good but inferior to mainstream equipment--like the "bastard children" alchemy lines of the Flourish.
However Iron Slug is just plain terrible rofl. No reason to use it.
I used to use a scarlet shield, and I still use a fiery pepperbox (good for JK)

Thank you, Metagenic. I don't know how it happened that "hipster" came to mean "terrible" in these forums. In real life, hipsters aren't into bad things; they are into good things that haven't achieved popularity. Metagenic's flamberge/rigadoon example is perfect.
Hipster = things that aren't used often
Things aren't used often are usually not used because they're outclassed by other weapons, or are perceived to be. Thus, most hipster weapons are bad.
Otherwise, I'm not a "weapons hipster"; I'm just someone that likes bad weapons.

Hum, actually, I saw several Heater Shield. The original hipster shield is Darkfang shield, by your definition (it's ultra rare, simply). But other hipster shields could include APS, Royal Jelly Shield and arguably Omega Shell.
As for weapons, Neutralizer is used by some gunners against zombies, but yeah it's rare. Other weapon as rare too, but Winmillion is the "best" hipster sword. Big angry bomb and Ionized Salt Bomb are also good competitors for bombs.
