First:
If you plan on posting a lot, you need to know one thing:
Use the search bar.
More likely than not, your idea will have been discussed before. Like this one. many threads on it.
Do not post game-changing suggestions. Balance, tweaks, new things yes, just don't make something that involves a complete remake.
Now to actually answer your question.
Click Forum preferences beside the search bar on the top right. Click edit, select a picture, then click save at the bottom.

Then came 8-year-old-sounding posters who wouldn't go away and kept saying stupid stuff. Thread spamming, self proclomations of glory, demanding that we stop -1ing their suggestions because it was a 'good idea' and that declarations we were all just being mean.
Added with little/no grammar, punctuation or spelling effort/ use of big words incorrectly (therefore don't know but say to sound smart).
It was war.
Now, some of us are more than just a little permanently irked.
Most of us developed a low tolerance to people who don't know anything about what's going on as a result.
Kinda sad really.

Just try not to anger anyone.
However, if they're being unreasonable, it's fine to defend yourself. Just tread carefully. Some of us are a lot less tolerant than others.
But really, when I say it was war, it's no exaggeration.
No really. It was WAR.
There are even two posters on my personal blacklist now, and I NEVER had to do that before.

As others had said before, try to use grammar, proper spelling, and capitalization in your posts, and check 'em over before posting. :)
Also use the search bar, think before posting something stupid, and don't do what Blandaxt did.
Blandaxt is a VERY GOOD example of what NOT to do on the forums.
Please, enjoy the forums but don't annoy people, and follow the rules. :P
