So i'm pretty new to the game and it so happens that i have 6$ on my steam account, so what should i buy?
I was thinking of buying 1500 energy but after some calculations i figured that with an elevator pass i can earn more money from my average playtime and il buy crimson hammer as soon as i reach tier 3, so what do you think what should i buy?
The Elevator Pass REALLY helps early game.
The only times I would suggest buying CE is if you either:
1) Have a large budget
2) Want to get from 4* and farming JK to 5* and farming FSC
3) are going to give it all to me :D
4) OOO has an awesome deal going. Last time this happened, it was X-mas with $3 Explorer Packs.
Im gonna get an elevator pass and farm snorbloax until i get enough money to buy better swords and armour, then go farm JK...
How much time per day do you have, to play this game? If you use much more play time than 100 ME per day allows, then an elevator pass is probably worth it. But consider this alternative:
Spend your $6 on CE. Then you have a paid account, and you can get a second account with its own independent ME stream. (At least, this is how it works for non-Steam Spiral Knights.) Then you're getting 200 ME per day (on two different characters). I don't know about you, but that gives me as much play time as I want.
Or, if you really want to go nuts, spend $3 on one account, and $3 on another, and then get a third free account. Now you're getting 300 ME per day (on three different characters). I can't nearly use this much play time. I use my extra ME to craft for my main character.
get the crimson hammer DLC
it costs like 5k ce or more in game now AND you have to find someone who will sell it to you.
*disregard this if you will buy the DLC with real money later on*
the endgame content in this game is really, really lame.
I hope to god what we have now isn't "endgame content". That would be mildly disappointing.
If you get/have steam you can get 3300ce from 6$ by selling games. If you play a lot everyday the elevator pass should be better in general, but some ce influx helps to craft gear quickly.
I agree with what others have said--get the elevator pass.
Also agree that the end-game content (at least right now) is extremely bad. Don't rush to get there... you will be disappointed.

Well there are people (check the bazaar) who will pay through the nose for some Tf2 items. I got from 3* to 4* (400 CE per upgrade, with at least a dozen pieces of equipment), via selling like 3 ref, a couple of vintages, a few stranges, and a hat I never wore.
Get crimson hammer.
Its basically like buying two 5 star items; one of which you can use in FSC, one of which you can use in RJP. Just get some T3 players to take you; once you've got the 5 star items you'll be set on weapons for quite a while; and they're fun to use as well.
The DLC also lets you craft a seerus mask or three, which I'd highly recomend... once you start farming FSC, it'll come in handy if you're using a blitz needle, not to mention the fire resist.
The other high point to this is that earning the mission with CE will cost you quite a bit...
I also left TF2; I was able to get a ton of stuff quickly, but I didn't like to.
It rewarded players with respect (unusuals; "Wow, what a great trader!") for:
-Scamming/Sharking other players
-"Trading your way up" which is essentially saying spending forever attempting to subtly profit off of others
-Getting extremely lucky
-Giving in and paying several hundred dollars
It also trashed its artistic style with awful lime green and hot pink paints.

It was all kind of manipulationy. That being said, it did a better job than SK at:
-Taking in community content
-Being accepting of things
-Requiring skill over items
-Not being pay to win, or really greedy at all
I liked SK, because at the time the only real evil in it was CE, and that wasn't so bad. Then a month later, lockboxes, numerous CE promotions, shadow lairs... etc. etc. etc.
Yea a month later OOO turned the game into Hat Knights 2 (valve influence)
Accessories are just something for the rich to pursue. Stop complaining about them, because it gives people an excuse to sell CE (which by extension lowers the price of CE).
Get an elevator pass. Earn your equips. It's much more entertaining than simply buying CE and buying your way to virtually zero content. You'll want to stretch out your spiral knights experience for as long as you can, because once you get all 5* geared and you've done FSC a handful of times, there really is nothing else to look forward to, the endgame content in this game is really, really lame.
