Dislike

The reason I want it in windowed mode is so I could easilly alternate in between surfing the net, other programs etc.

If you want if 'glued', why not just go full screen?

ALT+TAB would still work, you

ALT+TAB would still work, you know? I'm getting a lot of crashes in fullscreen, too. I don't see much point in sliding out of the window. Again, while not implied, by default assume its an optional feature.

@Hippo

My old laptop had issues running SK in fullscreen and I assume I wasn't the only one. It would load up and leave me at a black screen. This feature could be useful to people running into that issue, so I'd be all for it. Just a little checkbox in the settings menu should be enough if it can be implemented.

I find alt+tab quite

I find alt+tab quite inconvenient, mainly because I hate browsing the internet with the steam client(it's IE I suppose?)

I never ran SK on full screen before to be honest, but my girlfriend only runs it on fullscreen without any issues.

But back to the point, if it's an optional setting that I can disable, I don't mind at all.

lol

if i play on windowed mode i end up accidentally creating a bunch of empty folders clicking outside the window.

Once i even managed to somehow pull part of the blizzard launcher out of starcraft2 and ended up having to completely reinstall, which led to a 2 day hunt for my starcraft2 DVD. Good times.

And it is nice to be able to surf the web while playing or waiting for gate changes and such.

P.S. Most people find the game runs smoother on Fullscreen from what i understand. I believe it is even listed as a tip somewhere on the forums for better performance (although i may have read that somewhere else on the web, not sure).

@Paweu
Paying attention to what you do with your mouse and where your cursor travels or learning to control your movements would still work, you know?

My hands are crippled, I don't have perfect control over them. This doesn't mean you should just come over and put your posts with malice just because you feel like. I feel offended. I'm here suggesting something that would help me greatly.

Here you can see level of my control.

Oh don't mind Asu, he's just a troll and criticizes everything :p

Now on-topic, i don't believe this would be a bad idea if it was toggle-able.
I give it a +1

Programs trying to catch

Programs trying to catch mouse events can make a lot of problems depending on what window manager you're using and how you want to use it. Also, some secure system won't even allow such software to run because of the "key-logger behaviour". Deciding where an input event ends up is the job of the window manager, not the client program and catching the mouse cursor is one of the worst things that remain from obsolete software when it comes to customizing your desktop environment.

That being said... nothing speaks against making "mouse catching" a compatibility option. But I doubt that there's enough demand for a feature like that to be introduced? For now, if you're having problems, maybe you should use a different window manager. A tiling window manager might give you an easier time - most people I know that have problems with their motor functions can work a lot better and more precise with those ... or just use one with multiple desktops that lets you deactivate window decorations, so you can set SK's resolution to your full screen size and run it on its own clean desktop.

Because helping my disability is totally pointless, right. There is no point in helping cripples. Right.

Meh. I sometimes Click out of the Box & Find myself looking at the Forums instead of Rojal Jelly & when I click back, I get a Chunk of Health Missing.

I would like it, but at the same time, I wouldn't.

That about sums me up.

By the way, how Disabled are you? Or were you just Joking about that?

There is a hidden switch for

There is a hidden switch for Java that you can put in an extra.txt file which will remove all window borders. The game will still be running in window mode, but it will look like it is full screen and you won't be able to click outside of the window without ALT-TAB.

-Dorg.lwjgl.opengl.Window.undecorated=true

Have fun.
