What's the difference? According to the wiki, both make a monster take damage instead of healing. Is one better at it than the other, or are there different side effects also?
Poison and Curse?
"Curse makes a monster take damage when it tries to attack or heal itself/others"
Fixed it :P
Menders and Silkwings damage themselves if they try to heal when cursed. That's why carrying a curse vial in the last wave of an arena is pretty much an instakill on Menders/Silkwings, especially since curse does much more damage than poison.
That clears it up. But both poison and curse do the damage-instead-of-heal thing, who does that better?
"Curse makes a monster take damage when it tries to do something"
Fixed it for real :p
Wolvers barking is neither an attack nor a heal, but it activates curse. I think the mechaknights self-damage shock also works for that, not sure about that though.
Edit : curse does not actually prevents any healing. It does direct damage on the caster when they incant the heal. Poison have to be applied on the mob which will receive the heal : then he will be damaged instead of healed.
Venom Veiler + 2 gremlin menders = arena beatdown
there isn't a curse weapon that can do that…but honestly who cares, just bring both poison and curse with you if you wish to do so.
There is no curse mist bomb for obvious reasons.
Curse makes a monster take damage when it tries to attack.
Poison decreases monster attack and defense, stops health regen, and makes it take damage when something tries to heal it.
