Hello, I'm gonna write my first fanfic of Spiral Knights.

I still haven't got a name for the story and some characters, the MC's friends or rivals, etc.; and I'm also looking for a Main Character(MC).

I really want to start with the main story of the game and we start at the Crash Site, of course. Then how the MC turns out at the end.

For example, MCs I have thought of...:

Name: Cylin(meh no good at names)
Gender: Male
Attitude: Shy, but righteous and strong. Oh and also quiet
To be arsenal in the end(example): Leviathan Blade, Valiance or Nitronome, Azure Set
Biography: After the Crash, Cylin has met valuable friends in the Rescue Camp, despite his shyness. Upon reaching Haven, he has become much stronger, etc.

Name: Gael(meh no good at names)
Gender: Female
Attitude: Polar Opposite of Cylin, becomes a rather asset in his life
To be arsenal in the end(example): Acheron, Umbra Driver or Dark Retribution, Fallen Set
Biography: Cylin has met her in the Abandoned Depot, where she had been downed a few times and revived few times by Cylin. When she reached the final stage of FSC, the Throne Room, she had needed Cylin, after their fight, and Cylin came to her rescue.

I also made a few exceptions....

-HUDs have been upgraded
-Weapons are not measured by Heat Level, but by Energy Level, the limit on how the weapon will stay, 5*s are not affected by this rule
-Boss Rooms can be joined
-Basic Attacks have unlimited strikes, eg: Continuous: pitpitpitpit. Same for Guns.
-Bombs can be immediately set, as long as the charge button has been pushed
-New Trinkets/Accessories and/or weapons that are featured like Scissor Blades

I suppose those are all of them...

After I have some characters, I will post the Prologue... =D

EDIT: I have added: Sonic Mode in the Rule 2. It's like in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5tq7EOXDKg. 5* are affected by this change.

Hey, heres an app.

Name: Sarah

Gender: female

Attitude: rash and stubborn one minute, kind and caring the next. Always loyal to her friends.

Bio: raised in poverty, Sarah learned how to scrape by on even the tiniest morsels of food. She was great with swords and won a jousting contest, which got her family a feast for a year and some extra money. She was also noticed by the Order because of her lack of training and incredible skill. In fact, she once beat Feron using just her trusty Flourish, which she nicknamed "Freefall" and upgraded to a Final flourish. Still, she is stubborn, rash, wears her heart on her sleeves, but is loyal to her friends and compassionate to the innocent and poor while staying humble.

Beginning gear: Wolver set, Flourish, cutter, defender

End Gear: Skolver set with White chapeau and a white com unit as costume. Final Flourish, Valiance, wild hunting blade, and the occasional Nitronome. Aegis.

Misc: she has a craving for sweets and sometimes charges into battle with slime, icing, and crumbs smudged on her gear. She is merciless in battle but almost never delivers a killing blow, since she is too hesitant and scared of killing anyone. However, if she is enraged, or she believes that its for the best, she will kill without a second thought.

Prologue: It all started with the Crash...

. . .?
. . .The door opened slightly and small rays of light poured in.
The armored fellow had pushed the door gently and walked out of it, seeing the foliages of ever-green trees beyond that smoking crash...
"He may prove to be interesting..." said the cyan-colored person.
"We'll just have to see", replied the smart-looking person.
The screen dimmed when the armored fellow had walked out of the vision range and the two who had been talking had disclosed the conversation about the armored fellow, Cylin.

"Hmmmm...?", Cylin had just woken up from his sleep. Looking at himself few times, nothing had surprised him. In his hand was a sword. In his left arm was a shield. In the belt, a gun. Covering both head and body, is a helmet and armor.
After "reviewing" himself and stepping up in one direction, gelatinous cubes and lizards with oversized heads appeared before him.
Clutching the sword in his hand, he swung hard at one gelatinous cube. The cube had been sliced and had exploded with a "SPLAT". Then a message had come to his HUD in the helmet.
"Hello, Cylin. My name's Sarah. I'll be your tutorial for getting the gist on how things work. Step by step. If you have encountered gelatinous cubes, they're called Jellies. Jellies can stay alive if you use piercing weapons on them. Since your Proto Sword isn't a piercing weapon, you'll be fine."
Then he focused on the lizards.
"The lizards are called Chromalisks. They can turn invisible and take your equipment."
He reached for his belt and found his gun is no more there. On the other hand, he found a discarded bomb that had one charge left and set it quickly. The charge exploded, and the Chromalisks have revealed and gone.
"Monsters can drop items."
The Chromalisks have dropped the Proto Gun and some embers.
"Those embers are called heat embers. They add efficiency to our weapons and add more special abilities."
Turning around quickly, he switched the sword and the gun from his belt and shot the glowing cube nearby the Jellies and Chromalisks left. It exploded!
"The exploded cube is a Blast Cube. They affect the things near it when they explode."
The jellies and chromalisks have escaped and all that was left were splotted pink mark.

"Sarah, you will be in charge of taking this new recruit. I trust you and I hope you succeed", said the tall hooded man.
"I'll do my best!" replied Sarah.

"Ok, lets move on. See those trees there? Try swinging your sword. Then try blasting away at those Blast Cubes."
Following orders, Cylin smashed those trees and blasted bullets at the Blast Cubes. The path was cleared.
-After a while, finding the gate to the Rescue Camp-
It took Cylin 35 minutes to reach the said camp. The gate stood tall and sturdy and had a visible gas wall. As he took his first step into the range of the gate, a shadow was cast before him. A tree-like monster fell and tried to smash Cylin with it's oversized arm.

"Oh no! That's a Lumber! Oook... Lets see. I'll guide you through this battle. Ok try blasting at that Blast Cube near the Lumber."
Doing as she says, the green bullets of the gun hit the Blast Cube and exploded, throwing the Lumber into a nearby cliff.
"Now try throwing your sword. Trust me."
After second-guessing her move, she knew it still wasn't right. The energy levels of the Proto Sword is stable and low. After the grueling fights Cylin had, the Proto Sword's energy levels must have almost reached 0. Typing fast and accordingly through her computer, she scanned the energy levels of Cylin's Proto Sword.
---Screen Mode: Proto Sword Energy Levels
----Depleting from 20.
----Left energy levels: 2.
Then she knew her mistake. The Proto Sword wouldn't stand a chance...
"DOOOOON'T!"
Now she only hoped for a miracle.
The Proto Sword flew to the Lumber, stabbing it in it's woody chest. The visible gears have been stuck to the sword, and...
Lapsing on her mind was how cocky she had been...
Then something popped on her screen.
---[Proto Sword Sonic Mode Activated]---
---Proto Sword Energy Levels Rising to 20---
---1,2,3...20---
"I forgot! The Sonic Mode! It allows the weapon to restore to it's max energy level! 0* Leveled have 1 and so forth, with 1* = 2, 2* = 3..."
The sword ejected itself from the smoking beast and automatically placed itself in Cylin's hand... The monster exploded and left a mountain of crowns.
After the grueling battle, Cylin was tired. He had fallen in the middle of the battle field and collapsed.
"Medic!" was the last words Sarah spoke, after seeing her student collapsing...

Cylin had blacked out...
"Is this the report, Sarah?" asked the tall hooded man.
"Yes, sir." replied Sarah.
"Good job!" praised the hooded man and left.
