We already have the Dark Briar Barrage for piercing and there's no reason to put trollolol pierce on a bomb meant to kill slimes. And on that note the only viable shadow dps bomb is paywalled.

In other news, DBB has got that pierce down, and Ion needs to be useful somehow. We all know the mythology about salt being some sort of pure object are bunk, and that it's actually crystalized nothingness from The Void! I say go for it!

I don't use the ISB because of its charge time, not its damage type. I'm perfectly happy with DR and GV as my shadow bombs.

Crowd control or not it's still a useful and effective bomb. Bombers aren't exactly struggling against jellies, and gremlins dodge the shots from crystal bombs.
I wouldn't say I'm against a new shadow bomb, but we would be better off coming up with something new rather than editing an existing bomb that wouldn't be as effective anyway due to charge time and dodgy gremlins. The last shadow bomb idea I saw that I liked was a nitro-esq bomb that did a one-shot implosion. Not a continuous black hole, but reverse knockback.

If they want make a new Shadow Bomb, I'd want a Bomb that comes off the Crystal Bomb. Make Sun Shards Pure Elemental & a new line, Moon 3*Shards & Luminous Moon Shards 4*, a Non-OCH Pure Shadow DPS Bomb.
If they can/will, I'd also like for them to have 5* Versions, like Helios Sphere 5* & Lunar Burst 5*.
EDIT: Forgot about Salt Bomb.

Jelly floor? Graviton, Electron, Voltaic, Agni, Nitronome, Retribution; Leviathan, Vanquisher, Combuster, Voltedge, Divine Avenger, Gran Faust; Polaris, Supernova, Biohazard, Neutralizer, Sentenza, Peacemaker, Valiance, and any of the five Drivers.
Ionized Salt is meant to be the "neutral against almost everything" version of Crystal while Radiant Sun varies; sometimes Radiant is better, other times not, all while Salt is chilling until constructs appear.
Would make too much sense.
