Why Is This game about blinging your character out now instead of actual gameplay

i know it didnt used to be
the customizations are nice and all but when are we gonna see some new weapons or a boss or an area
whens the story gonna progress into the core ????
id like to see a hard mode where the shadow lairs are leaking the swarm and randomly make your arcade play a bit harder
we have a basic story but id like to see it become something
give us a new gun or a bomb cause theres already alot of swords to choose from
theres nothing wrong with blinging your character out its that i see more bling added to the game than actual game changing items or quests or events
you know ??
or am i just the only one who likes actual gameplay ?

Who? The player, the guild, the concept, or some combination of the three?

I think pretty much anyone who has been in unity knows we care more about gameplay then maxing our character out. Since there is not enough gameplay only thing to keep us playing is making the best gear character we can possibly make. Pawn and Rommil while rich and also equiped with outstanding gear will tell you the same.

New weapon? Yeah sure! Maybe you could take some awesome hammer and attach a rocket to it! Maybe get a bomb that does shadow damage! Perhaps even a gremlin themed boss!
-.-'
Missions are still relatively new and were a major gameplay update. Show some patience, game designing isn't as easy as it seems. The accessories are just there because they are both easy to make and keeps people spending money on the game.

Maybe it was a gameplay update but not new content update.
Accesories sure are easy to make and keep ppl spending $$$, but this leads to question, why would OOO bother doing new content (not P2P only content, not steam only content) while they can keep making new accesories and there will be always people who will swing they credit card?

I'm saving this quote.
Why should anybody bother finishing any project?
I still stand by my statements from the last wave of rageposts in that OOO is making new content and tidying up the game... for new players right now, and will eventually release content for the mid-upper and endgame players.
Sure, they might have started with Vanaduke, but since then, they released t1 content, then t2 content, then t3 (SL, no matter how few people really play them).
Sure, the mission updates reused a lot of old content and even reused a lot of the new content, but even then, they technically had a bunch of new stuff in there (the Trojan Boss mission, Gauntlet are among my favorite). It's just not the core or t4 or whatever. I won't even go into OCH because it's one of those things that people dismiss because it's pay/steam-only.
Stay bitter.
Unity will attack you for such a thread.
