I say a new sword line comes out/existing line gets changed that has a dash mechanic (like that of the mjolnir of seerus) on CHARGE.
Reasons for this suggestion:
1. Since the (what I consider nerf) patch that took out the forward impulse on the first strike of the spur (as if it needed more nerfing) we don't really have that awesomesauce dancing blade thing going on anymore. Not saying this would remedy it completely, just think it would make for a charge into battle that's more exciting.
2. Dashing on charge makes for slightly trojan-esque playstyle, especially if we take a heavy sword to do it. Not to mention, the mechanic damage-wise is not OP in and of itself because you have to aim really well to hit an enemy. As is the case with our rocket on a stick. (tell me you dash into enemies well with that thing)
3. If the dash comes with KB, it could make for some new tactics with that slag army or that mech cloud. Instead of us running around, we charge, dash through them and begin the onslaught from a different side.
4. No noobs will have reason to QQ about throwing themselves into anything due to the fact that you can cancel a charge.
5. Potential change-up for the spur line's charge that makes it fun. Winmillion could get a brother.
6. I didn't post it needs to be within set-by-set frame yet because I want the forum itself to decide and bicker about it! :)
Possibility/suggestion #2:
Is it possible to remove one of the nerfs from Dark Retribution line? A lot of bombers were a bit peeved to know their bomb got nerfed so much and yet the rocket on a stick got nothing to our knowledge. (Pure elemental sword... huh...) All we need's a pure shadow sword and we'll have clone wars with three sword choices.
Possibility/Suggestion #3:
We need a different forum system here. Drupal is not cutting it.
Reasons:
1. I go to search my own "Suggestions from the community" thread... thousands of alternate threads will pop up, or the function fails me. I wish it would search more specifically (read word-for-word) what I've typed, instead of keywords.
2. Lack of history function in our own profiles makes for some very terrible backtracking ventures. Especially with those newer to the suggestions board because we have to dig through tons of files in order to bring up why their suggestion has failed before (so that they may balance it).
3. Thread inactivity in many forums for periods longer than a few weeks is either auto-graveyarded... or a mod will graveyard it. Currently such system does not exist here.
4. Many forum systems have a page limit before threads are auto-graveyarded/locked. I suggest such system be enacted here (or in another system) expecially due to necromancers and witch doctors deciding to be our own forum version of Darkfang Gremlin Menders (aka annoying).
5. Forum avatar customization/profile customization (those words alone should explain my argument)
Possibility/Suggestion #4:
GF's charge change.
In place of the massive sword bullet, I suggest that the GF get a tri-bullet charge akin to what t3 phantoms dish out. Complete with bullet speed over time increase (have you seen that thing? It flies off the map like nobody's business!) I believe such change would be more welcome than a single large bullet that breaks on impact. Also requesting that the charge time be reduced to one akin to the Divine Avenger. Bullet range is negotiable.
Reasons:
1. Envision a phantom charge with two added bullets spreading the range across a 30-45 degree radius. Now think about the speed those bullets fly. Would the potential for being cursed be more worth it at that point?
2. Damage has not been discussed, it could quite potentially be half the t3 phantom's charge's simply due to the fact you could ram 3 bullets into a nearby enemy, which means extremely high curse chance, and if you become cursed it could be okay with a party.
3. No matter what the charge needs a change.
It seems alright. I think a trojan-style dashing charge would certainly be interesting, it might not be that useful, but there may be a good strategy to use along with it.
