By the way, we use guild ranks depending on your tier clearances (for now, we might have test runs to determine skill level in the future) just so we can know who you can ask for help in missions, it's not for any discriminatory purposes hehehe.

On another note, recruitment is going swell! We're starting to build up a nice, tight-knit community. The test run system is in effect, so if you feel like you don't belong to your guild rank, please notify a guild master or an officer to get your skills checked! As mentioned before, this is only to see who could help who in missions etc.

@SapphireOnIce: Have you tried the Royal Jelly Palace? It's a favorite farming spot for T2 players, and I think it can help you get to T3 faster!
@Ultimaleo: If you like to fight Snarbolax, you should definitely consider getting a bristling buckler! It can be upgraded to a Barbarous Thorn Shield, which is one of the best shields you can get as a swordsman.
@The two of you: If you ever feel like fighting a different boss, just ask any of our guildmates! (Preferably veterans). I'm sure they'll happily take you to hunt the Jelly King or the Roarmulus Twins or even Lord Vanaduke himself!
@Derpkatanas: Thank you! Yesterday, a lot of our members were online (the most we've had) and that made for a fun day! We chatted a lot with each other, even sharing cultures of our countries. @Bumbleberrycupcake: Ah my bad! The tier system was used in our guild since we were active before the mission system came online. Back then, when everyone did gate runs, completion was based on tiers. Maybe I should change the OP to rank instead of tier? New York time afternoons, I think we'll play together a lot then! I'm GMT +7 and I play at night so that should intersect.
@Aible: Same explanation for tiers as above. Swords do tend to be the preferred weapon for most people, and for good reason! They deal quite a lot of damage and were quite overpowered. Guns and bombs were recently buffed to make it more fair recently though. I do suggest you use swords for now as you can usually keep using them until late game, while some guns and bombs are better later in the game.

@Jedi-Night: Yeah! We actually have 2 but the old one went inactive. Sorb can't open forums now so I'm managing this one haha. We're in the process of creating a new guild site too but it will take a long time!
@Mezonray: Don't worry, that's exactly what this guild is about! We prefer not to hand out stuff to people (unless it's from a guild event) as it encourages the wrong mentality.

Tip of the day: Having trouble using swords against spookats? Try to relax and counterattack! They do zip around fast, but you'll have a much easier time hitting them after they've attacked. They stay put after attacking, so shield their attack and unleash your counterattack!

Guild diary: Not much to write here since I didn't play much today... IB Business and Management exam tomorrow! Today we welcomed our new member Amtoj. Several guild members went with him (or her) to Frostifur and Fandangos mission, and I'm sure that went well! I would've joined it myself but I was too busy dying trying to solo FSC xD. Hard to do with a horrible connection... I'll do it someday though! After the runs, I held another trivia game! Again, people excitedly started asking their own questions. We learned a lot about other games, science, and everything in general. For example, an elephant is the only mammal that cannot jump! Van Gogh cut his own ear off because he wanted to give it to his girlfriend! Sadly, this officer had a stomach ache (ate something wrong?) and had to go to the loo early. As a result, the final question which, due to Derpules' consecutive winnings and donation, was worth 1700 crowns and a brandish, became postponed for the next day! Talk about anticlimatic.

Hehe sure Derp! Just if you have time though, if not don't push yourself : ) Haha nice one! I guess we both know things are nicer if we prolong it eh? Instant gratification is the enemy! Oh I was thinking if we will really snowball it up might as well make a lottery! That way everyone's got an equal shot at it. Working on our off-wiki guild site, it's looking pretty good! We can post events there too, including lotteries and guild pictures.

Tip of the day (EDIT: Not of the day anymore, I'll only write posts when responding to applications because I am fickle like that): Have you just found another health capsule when you're at full health AND have 3 health capsules already? Can't take it to the hard-as-hell arena coming up next? Fear not! Walk near your party button and drop a health capsule, and then return to get the one you just found. Now go step on that party button and feel secure in your extra health capsule!

Prancing-Pachyderm plays Spiral Knights while doing treadmill! What a healthy lifestyle : D. This makes for an interesting possibility, to synchronize your knight's steps with your own.

Happy humping! If you want to party with the Jelly King or even Vanaduke, we have plenty of parties on it (around certain time zones). What time zone and what time do you usually play at?

Tip of the post: Do you often find yourselves cornered by the monsters? Try shield bumping! When your enemies are at attacking range and you tap your shield button, they will (if room permits) be flung away quite far, depending on how big (how many stars) your shield is. This is a great trick to manage crowds, but be careful of accidentally knocking a zombie's chomping jowls right in front of your ally! They could get angry at you!
Bonus tip (from Prancing-Pachyderm): Don't spit against the wind! A llama friend of hers (I suspect the Dalai Llama, who gained great wisdom from this. Just kidding, hope I didn't offend anyone) learned it the hard way.

Today I observed a gargantuan pachyderm educating a chameleon with her newly upgraded stick. It was a... befuzzling sight. She then proceeded to prance around the battlefield and rave about cookies. After reporting these events in front of the camera, this reporter was confronted by the elephant, who said "don't be cruel to a heart that is true". Today, I overheard Derpules' evil master plan of selling all his stocked CE when the price hits a certain threshold *insert diabolical laugh and thunder*. Sounds like a nice profit though, I should do that too sometime! Well if we look at it another way, he'd be increasing CE supply, therefore reducing CE price... Diabolical? Maniacal? Benevolent? Saint-like? Only time will tell!
