if you had full vog, both with fire max, and two soaking wetstone pendants would you be completley immune to fire?

No

you just burn for 2 seconds. It's also harder to catch fire, but you still can.

Once upon a time

Once upon a time you would have been fully immune. But they changed it.

2 seconds from strong fire

2 seconds from strong fire maybe. You'd be immune to weak and moderate fire.

Status immunity

I've found an interesting thing with my shields in this regard...

Owlite vs. fire+fiend stratum > Skelly vs. fire+fiend stratum

I survive longer, shield takes far more hits... and baby do the enemies hate me.

So, point of lesson? Get status UV's on your shields if you're going arcade running, people will hate you.

(haven't tested with drake scale shield systems due to fact all monsters have a hint of normal damage)

How would Oatmonster's

How would Oatmonster's equipment fare against FoV charges?

Because it would be fun to do a JK run with the additional items ontop of Oatmonster's already mentioned items:
1) Barbarous thorn shield
2) Fang of Vog with:
- VH Slime dmg
- VH CTR
- VH ASI --> cause why not

Now that you mention it, arent statuses weaker on lower tiers?

I know armor gets nerfed too, but please tell me fire will do zero damage with all that resistence at least on depth 1.
