So i bought crimson hammer and i have a few questions, im not sure if this is the right forum cause im new but il go ahead and ask
1.Can i play the Tier 3 mission without being tier 3
2.If i play Tier 2 and then Tier 3 do i get both the hammers or im stuck with the 3* one
Lemme just recap this, if i play tier 1, and after that tier 2, i will get both hammers and bombs coresponding to the missions, but if i do tier 3 right from the start i wont get the tier 1 and 2 items
1. I have no idea since I was already t3 when I bought the expansion but be warned, t3 OCH is quite hard, harder than fsc imo (although that might just be because I haven't played it as much) so if you aren't t3 you might have a lot of trouble with it. Of course even if it doesn't let you into the t3 if you have friends with the expansion who are tier three they should be able to invite you to join them, make sure they do it in the start lobby though because if you join part way through you won't get the mission rewards (aka the hammer and bomb).
2. You get a set of hammer/bomb for completing each tier, so yes you do end up with all three hammers and bombs if you do all three tiers.
i am a very happy man now, and i have 3 friends who are tier 3 and have the expansion (il just do it with them)
The order doesn't matter, if you do all three tiers you will end up with all three hammers/bombs, it's not an upgrade of the previous hammer/bomb they are separate.
edit: I'm a slow typer.
You'll only get the mission rewards if you start from the very beginning, and then you'll only get the rewards (hammer + bomb) that go with that mission. So yes you can jump right into the T2 or T3 versions, but you will not earn the rewards of the T1 version on that run. One run = one set of rewards. You can see this on the mission description page before you launch to the ready room.
