After this previous update, the crown payout for jk runs has been 'balanced' . So wondering what this meant, i did a round. and only got 2.4k cr! When i would normally get around 3k!.
So i am getting 800cr per floor, which is worse than 1000cr per floor. and my friend confirmed that he got the same amount.
Many people continually do jk runs all day long to earn ce and cr. But now, is it really worth the doing it, or should we go back to arcade runs and buying/selling marked up recippes?
No more Jk Crown farming?

I've done one run as well, was like 2.8 k should i assume now that nothing has changed? ;)
i think the average per run has gone down by 100-400 crowns which is nothing too brutal, if you consider that duo jelly runs had a very similar payout to fsc runs (assuming you need about 40 minutes for FSC and you can duo jelly in 13-14)
imho the nerf was justified, and before people start whining about crowns, be aware that less crowns in the game mean, that CE Prices should fall by a bit :)

Great, OOO just nerfed a major crown source for T2 players.
As i said many times, it seems that OOO is slowly cutting down, 1 by 1 sources of players income.
The so called "balance to crown and heat payout" series of patches announced while ago is appearing to be "nerfing to crown and heat payout" so in the end we will have everything nerfed.
So, they lower crown payout, they took away recipe trading, ruined weapons marked by undercutting undind prices in energy depot, what will be next? All mats bound on acquiring? Rising unbound cost?
Slowly OOO is trying to 'overtake' market, and forcing players to only use $$$ trades with OOO as source of income.

Actually, some of us don't have direct access to the FSC mission... besides my 4 star gear barley cuts it down there.
We are not all rich, and we need a source for "easy" crowns! The same knights that brought us the "Dark Retribution" is OP, have now brought us RJP gives out too many Crowns. It's the same people over and over. DR is a 5 star weapon, yes, it is OP in T1... so what. RJP is T2... 5 star gear is SUPPOSED to make it easy. If you want a challenge spend your mass amount of crowns on SHADOW LAIRS, and stop complaining that RJP is too easy, and gives too many crowns, and the guns are OP, and the DR is OP, and whatever else your saying that only concerns the end game folks.

@Red-Percival: You're forgetting about the fact that 1 FSC run uses 50 energy, so theoretically CE could rise to 14k before it is based on the FSC payout.
On-topic: I got 2.9k on my last RJP run, so I don't see much change at all.

OK if your doing JK for money you dont actually go to the boss so heres the math.
you have 100 mE, 2.4k per run. Each run costs 20 mE so you can do 5 runs.
now 2.4x5=12k so you get 12k for 100 mE.
Now cE costs about 6800-7000 lets just say 7000
so you can farm JK get 12k buy 100 cE and have 5k left over
Now just rinse and repeat and your making a 5k profit everytime (without revives) + all the mats you get.
(if anything is wrong here please bear in mind im writing this at 2AM)
EDIT: SO please stop hating on OOO because when you look at it t2 players are actually getting decent money + basically you can play as much as you want in a day since your Profit out weighs your cost

While that would be plausible, I've been in T2 for a long, long time, and now it just feels stale and stagnant since I can't access T3 quite yet (without the proper recommended gear, it's much more difficult than it should be as well).
I like changes of pace which is why I liked doing what I could for crowns, because I could explore a whole other difficulty to that world, so if I can get to it faster I can enjoy my game.
It's hard to enjoy the game when I'm doing the same floor archetypes over and over just trying to get crowns, I've even memorized some of the switch puzzles in scarlet fortress just to get through it faster, that's how often I've done it from just the arcade alone.
Then missions came and I could use it to gain the currency required, but now it's rendered even less effective.
I don't want to do the same mission over and over again, but I also don't want to do the same floors I've traversed already from my experiences in the arcade.
That's how long I've been stuck in T2 trying to get the gear necessary to not be awful in T3, as I wouldn't want to burden other players, nor myself with ineffective equipment.
This will only slow my progress that much more, along with many others.
But hey, ANYTHING to increase sales, including the degenerating quality, right?

On another note, they also nerfed arenas, I tried Rise or Fall and they changed the whole arena, which was neat, except I got not even half the prize boxes from doing all 3 of the arena's challenges, or kill the amazing amount of enemies in the process for the crowns from them.

@Krazyghost: True enough... now in 75 days I will have enough to buy one [mediocre] set of 5 star gear (I can only do the rinse and repeat once a week. All the other days I get 1, MAYBE 2, runs of RJP)... If I had 8 hours/day to dedicate to SK, I could do it in less, but I have a wife and kids... I play SK for fun, but part of the fun is to get bigger and badder weapons, and get to bigger and badder levels. But not just GET to bigger badder levels, I want to be able to do well in them. Oh, and "all the mats you get." [in RJP] are worth so much considering how rare they are... wait, no, on second thought, everyone and his alt has as many gel drops as they could ever want or need.
@God-king: If you can't see that OOO wants everyone to buy CE, you are delusional. Of course they want you to buy CE. How else will they make money?
@Lordofnecromancers: Yeah, part of the fun is to get lots of crowns. Of course, my view on lots of crowns is probably different from yours... I currently have ~105,000 crowns. To ME that's a lot, I have only ever had 80,000 before now. Considering it will take ~400,000 to convert my current loadout to 5 star, I have a long way to go... and I can't buy anything in the mean time, and my alts are working overtime crafting gear (but my materials are starting to run thin)!
I'd buy CE if it were 75-85% off the current price. I will probably buy another elevator pass at some point as well, I had one before and it was really nice to be able to go wherever I wanted and quit whenever I wanted. If the pricing was better, I'll bet OOO would actually see a few more than ~9000 or whatever the P2P number is.

I could not agree more... The way that the casual game players have to go about farming now will be cut to just about nothing, and soon players will have to be forced to pay to even play this OOO game. I've been playing about 61 game hours or so and have full 4*gear, and access to T3... But I don't have all the time in the world to play, or farm crowns for that matter. The implemented strategy of Crowns to Energy is nice for FTP's, while it is the curse of the free gamer as well. Unless petition is signed to maybe get this revoked, there is no way we will be able to fight this.
If your mats are running thin, you can talk to me by the way, I don't mind getting a few off my hands for some super-lows.

I have 260 hours clocked, and have 11 4 star items. However, even with my 11 items, I am unable to complete the next two missions on 8-2. They are fiend based missions, and they have stopped me dead in my tracks. I have tried 5 or 6 times to beat them, but have died every time. The last time I tried, I got to the second floor, and then died within a stones throw of the elevator, leaving me dry on mist and ce. It was not worth trading for ce so I could revived and die again in 30 seconds.
What bothers me more is knowing that on the next screen of missions I have to have 5 star gear to complete them (4000CE to craft the 5 star gear if I use the recipes they provide and ONLY if I already had the 4 star version of each of those, which I don't). From 4 to 5 star gear in such a short time is insane. I JUST got my 4 star loadout, and now they are telling me that to complete more missions I have to spend twice the crowns and CE that I just spent on getting 4 star. It's actually more than double the price going from 0-4 star compared to going 4-5 star. There were 20 or 30 missions going from 0-4 star, and then less then 10(???) missions going from 4-5 star (correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not at my gaming machine right now to count) I'll count it later and post back.

I live in the Pacific time zone in USA. I am normally on from 8:00-9:15 in the evening. If your on at that time, I would be happy to have the help. Although it won't do much for me except drop me into the next mission screen (the one that they give you the 5 star recipes in the first one).
But yeah, I'll check to see if your on when I'm on! Thanks for the offer! Tonight I told a random knight that I would invite him to RJP... I helped him get through one of the fiend levels that his missions had him stuck at (is there a theme here? Yep, fiends are evil).
I crafted a 4 star skelly suit, and have a tiny little bit of shadow on my helm, but otherwise have NO other fiend defense. I have Dark throne blade, gigawatt, acsended calibur, freeze bomb... not much else that is good for fiend.
