After logging on, I click my knight "Flared" and says "Entering Ready Room". After that I won't enter it. I'm stuck on the selecting knight screen. Tried contacting support, but it's been 4 weeks and still no reply. Can someone please help? I've never been playing Spiral Knights for almost a month now.

It's like the admins or support doesn't care about this problem, I mean it's been a long time ever since I sent them a message and still no reply. Also an admin didn't reply here yet and I used my money on this game and it went to waste because of this.

Did that already and still found no reply in spam or junk-mail and yeah I know about getting several replies long ago, but after I sent a message after the reply I got long ago, I haven't gotten a reply since. I just want to play again. This was my favorite game I play everyday until I had this problem. Sorry for my behavior and all the messages...

Admin please help all of us. We all want to enjoy this game again. Can a patch fix this problem? I was played Spiral Knights fine long ago, until this happened. It's not my computer, it's actually game. Once again I was playing long ago no problem.

There are a few potential options that may solve this issue.
For Steam users, sometimes waiting until the Steam Community information pops up can solve this issue.
Sometimes this can be an issue with an firewall program and creating an exception can sometimes help. Port and program information can be found on the wiki.
Other users can experiment by temporarily connecting their computer directly to their modem if they are using a router in their home network. If this helps the same ports listed on the Wiki about Firewalls should be opened on the router.

Met the requires on the wiki about the firewall and still have this problem. It's actually my router. Not the game. Also connecting to my modem doesn't work.

Same problem here.
I click on one of my knights, and it just says "Entering Ready Room" indefinitely. I tried creating a new account separate from my Steam account, even went so far as to uninstall SK from Steam and install the non-steam version. Still no luck.

wow
this is very bad. just got the same problem u guys afe having. sometimes i get inside the ready room, but when i click to go to haven or a mission or anywhere else, it freezes and i dont go anywhere.
also i dont know if this problem is connected to my other problem, but when i am using the movement controls or cliking on something theres a delay. i checked if this was lag, but my ping was fine, i had no other programs running. this is a realluy annoying problem because it makes me run into spikes tracks and does other actions that i did not tell it to do. this plus when i do get lag causes a huge problem.

Problem still persists
I've had this exact problem for ages and tried everything listed above to fix it. My game starts just fine but the moment I click on my character it just stays at the character select screen with "Entering Ready Room" at the bottom and after that all I can do is back out and try again. It seems like after one of the last updates made over a month ago the game just broke.

Yeah I'm having that problem also. When you click to go to Haven and whatever. I can still play Spiral Knights, but only through my modem. Connecting to my router makes me have the ready room problem. Hope this gets fixed soon. Helios sent me an email saying the admins are still looking in to this problem. For now I can play through the modem...

I think I know the answer to this problem. If your router or modem is apparently old and has errors updating, then you should buy a new one which automatically updates. I got a new router that does that and I can play again no problem.

I hate the exact same issue.
I tried. I sent a bug report. I reinstalled Spiral knights. Still the same! I got a new router and modem still not.

I doubt at this point SK is at fault... Seeing how SK took popularity within the last year, I could bet anything that the problem is on your end
If you wouldn't be able to log with a new router and a new modem. I shouldn't too, but I switched modem one month ago and switched router 1 year ago and have been playing this game on multiple router in different house, using different PC and different router almost each times.

Why would you necro a 6 month old thread instead of making a new one?
I am also having this problem. I will click on my knight and it will not enter the ready room. After waiting long enough, I will be disconnected from the server, at which point I will not be able to log back on because it will just say "logging on..." until I am disconnected again. Does anyone have any suggestions?
