Would I be crazy to be using a Cyclops Cao instead of a Shadowsun Stetson? I've played this game long enough to dodge with no effort and it would save me tons of CR/CE.
Just wondering what you guys opinion is.

I kind of like Shadowsun b/c it's freaking awesome and cool looking. As long as you turn full inspect off so you won't have to explain the Cap to your party. ;)

You know that they buffed Tier 1 gear too much when people are choosing it over 5 star gear.
Yeah, if you can dodge easily, not really and disadvantage. It's like fencing jacket over wolver, offence outweighs defence if you dodge well.

Also, the quite large amount of health you lose with choosing a 0* over 5* is rather significant. Unless you play flawlessly, you are going to eventually get hit and it is going to hurt.

They can still realize you're wearing a 0* because you have 5 less starting HP than everybody else.

You can also mask the lower HP with trinkets. Anyways, I assume you're already using switstrike buckler right?

Yep that's why I'm not too worried about getting hit because I dodge well enough for me to not have to shield things. But I have access to a Grey Owlite and CoA of need be. And a BTS but I use that for the sword bonus rather than the defense (why would you need shield against Jellies and Beasts?)

Making my loadout:
Cyclops Cap
Nameless Poncho
Swiftstrike
x2 Trueshot
All of my guns which at least have ASI low
Giving me Max ASI and Max Damage. I'm actually contemplating forgoing Stetson and Cyclops for a Seerus for VH CTR and Damage with max ASI since Im starting to become a lot more proficient with Alchemers. Dot really mind the pointless UVs considering I got all the guns for only like 3k cr more than a normal one.
If you're good enough to dodge effortlessly, then stick with Cyclops Cap. Just don't join random parties.
