Silly knights complaining about how the game is too easy...

The easier the game, the less you die. The less you die, the less you revive. The less you revive, the less you use/buy ce. The less ce you buy, the less money OOO makes! http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_ls37kjEzDv1r1hdnho1_500.gif
Now if they made the game harder, thatll turn into profit for OOO, which ,as far as this forum is concerned, is a bad thing.

Let's just nerf all the monsters so no knight ever dies again.

How about you back up that talk by doing Tier 3 Danger Rooms. Oh ain't this great! See this is why I hate people & troll. First everyone was complaining about, "Oh nerf the walkers, they attack too fast & have somewhat range when they swipe you!" Then because of your terrible display at FSC back in those days when content was just impossible to do and Tier 3 was a hell hole of hell & majority of Vana runs were 77% fails, don't you there complain about the game being too easy. I'll smack you so hard with this fish I'm boiling right now, I swear you just push Kitty-Softpaw's button one more time & YOU SIR, YOU will be sleeping with the smell of fish for the rest of your life.
EDIT: This salmon is still raw, don't you temp me boy! Kitty has claws.

Salmon suck. Use bass or groupers instead.

Said OP who who raged every time he had to spend 10CE when he got killed because of his recklessness.
Also with every nerf becames patheticaly easy.
Also, it seems Hr-Dalp did this thread not to support his case co make game easy, but just as a response to "anti nerf" thread, according to rule that if a opinion is placed there has to appear thread with completly diffrent opinion, no matter what OP thinks (just like with those zombie "oih OOOO li luv yuou <3<#<#" threads.

Well..
--> Spiral Knight nerfed the monster
--> This game is too easy
--> Everyone will get bored.
--> No one buy CE
--> Everyone leave Spiral Knight
--> Less Three Rings profit
----> If Three Rings has less profit.. that's may be turn into.. NOT UPDATE SPIRAL KNIGHT! Did you want that?

If the game's demise is caused by a design flaw of the developers, resulting in players abandoning the game, then the developers have brought the game's fate upon it by themselves. You cannot blame the player for having an opinion. If the customer is dissatisfied, they leave and are entitled this option, and it is up to the company to take them back, or let them go.
If Spiral Knights comes to an end, the burden is entirely upon that of the company behind it - not the players.

I buy CE all the time, not because I suck, but because I want to punch UVs on my BTB (appraently OOO trolled me of 10M crowns atm, i want a good UV >:C)

They should make the monsters stop attacking on the next nerf. It's just so annoying how they attack you for no reason while you just want to have a conversation with a zombie or pet a mewcat.

Its kinda true tough most people who complain abaut the game being easy are people that are quite noob and are free to play players. When they make the game harder they need to revive more and then!
SPOILER!!!: They will make complain posts abaut the game being to hard.
thats pretty ironic trololol

The harder the game, the more /bad players/ die. The more they die, the less CR they earn. The less CR they earn, the more the CE market falls, making it more affordable for the skilled players.
There's likely a couple flaws in the above, but from an elitist view more difficulty is only ever a good thing. I'm not too bothered personally, though I wouldn't appreciate the game being any easier than it is currently =S.

Darn it, where are those pictures?!? Me & Draycos where talking about attack speed decreasing on monsters & about it being that it's not that the game is easy it's just that predicting monster movements & dodge-ability of the players has increased more.
The point is that we can predict monster movements & are now x100 better at dodging than before.

so i heard about this thing called shadow lairs where it's supposed to be pretty hard.
i'd love to comment, but i never play them cause it takes too much CE to do them @_@

Hmmm.... Yessssss, this thread is coming along quite nicely.
@Biligum Why thank you...
@Coatl Patch notes:
Enemies:
-Enemies received further balancing, most notably the lack of any damaging attacks.
@Pladypus Exactly, in all honesty, salmon doesn't sound threatening at all
@Asukalan I'd appreciate it if you replied some more, I'm always up for a good laugh.
@Ironoid Well don't we all? I have barely ever posted, only ever reading threads with people complaining. I learned that any sort of profit towards OOO is the work of the devil. Most people will agree with me that no new patches is a good price to pay if it means the end of the malicious OOO profit.
@Shidara The burden is entirely behind OOO's profit, as discussed previously.
@Mczeno No, no, no, it was OOO's profit and the rng that trolled you, mostly the profit though.
@Byas Don't ya just wanna cuddle with Snarby, or have a civilized conversation with Vanaduke, or maybe have some tea with the Ice Queen.
@Argonwire Depends on what kind of dificulty. I don't think you'd like OOO to give all monsters completely broken and unfair abilities, there's a difference between a hard game and a broken one.
@Seiran They are pure eviil, they give OOO wayyyy to much profit. (the whole OOO profit schtick ends here, I promise. If I keep it up I will kindly show myself out.)

A post for Hr-Halp-me-game-is-too-hardddddd-stop-making-it-so-hardddddd
Have a nice laugh.
There is also a difference between a hard game and a playable one.

People don't just shell out cash because there's a way to. There has to be something that has value in them paying for it.
- If they like the game enough and OCH sounds awesome, they'll pay for it. I've been planning to get it but I have more pressing things to save money for right now.
- If they want to get UV gear, they might buy CE, sell it for crowns, and gamble it all away rolling for UV.
- If they want to get some cool accessories for their character, they'll buy CE.
- If they're busy (ex: full time job) and can't be bothered to play all the time, they'll buy CE or heat boosters.
- If they want to access shadow lairs without grinding for CE, they'll buy it the CE to get the keys.
If the motivation ISN'T strong enough, then it isn't exactly the best for profit. I propose that shadow lairs with their danger and cost (key cost, possibly revive cost) versus reward (chance for Sanctuary, rare mats, ..fun?) is more 'expensive' than it's worth. The most expensive mats I've seen from there are worth 25-30k, and that barely pays for 400 CE if you split key costs @_@.
Right now, I see SL as a sort of CE sink for end-game players more than anything.
T3 is too easy. FSC is too easy. Why? Because my guildmates run FSA all the time. You virtually always have a brony chopping slags at FSC.
Now: if FSC is not a challenge, Shadow Lairs are - as mr Serian pointed out - not worth it, then what is left I ask? I refuse to challenge myself with underpowered equipment during the game (I can press the keys with my face as well or hole the keyboard upside down), because it is the responsibility of the game to provide me with a challenge.
*Reminiscence*
Remember how the graveyards used to be a living hell? How you were reaching the elevator as the last man standing, with your heart beating like crazy because you know that your friend died at a hand of phantom and it is you that everypony is counting for you? This is what I miss...
I miss that feeling when I saw a fang of Vog some year ago - you had to recover it from the very depth of a hell that you I had no idea about.
*Reality*
Now there is no achievement even in the SL items. The only difficult to come-by items are worthless accessories, which only prove that the one having them has a huge pile of cr and no better way of spending them.
*Hope and... solution?*
Do you know what is a "purring cap"? There is only one in the entire game. This is the kind of item that would be worth of going through a real hell. Because there is only one known. Because it has some awesome, but not overpowered stats. We need such items. Items that are limited. Available only to the really skilled players. Lying at the very heart of maelstrom, where no ce revival is possible and only the trully skilled warriors can reach.
I do not care that I will not acquire such an item. At least I could bask in the glory of it once in a while playing a game with one who has it.

@Asukalan http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=7_z8n2yp8zU#t=170s Guess it didn't make laugh, huh.... NOW GET OFF MAH FORUMS!
