I came into this game as a bomber, and now its about time I helped spread word about the class I have enjoyed so much.

A bomber's roles are varied. Overall, they are generally considered the heavy support class doing one of two things:

1. Dishing out the heat against a large group of enemies. Most of the time, a damage bomber utilizes Graviton/Electron Vortex, Ash of Agni, Voltaic Tempest, Nitronome, Dark Retribution, Dark Briar Barrage, and Radiant Sun Shards to achieve this goal. Their general armor set is a Hybrid Volc/Mad or Bombastic/Mad combo or pure Mad Demo or Pure Mercurial Demo. A limited number of bombers also specialize with Pure Bombastic Demo, though CTR is generally the better offensive "UV" so to speak, though universal damage is rather nice.

2. Providing group support with a variety of haze bombs that guarantee status infliction and utilize their varied statuses to create trouble and make party runs go very smoothly. This is a less favorable style of play, after all, everyone wants to be the guy who dishes the pain, but it is a very safe way to play, with less likelihood of dying than a standard offensive swordsman or bomber. Support Bombers utilize Shivermist Buster, Ash of Agni, Voltaic Tempest, Stagger Storm, Venom Veiler, and Graviton and/or Electron Vortex. The general armor set for a support bomber is Volcanic Demo Set, which provides a CTR max and the highest defensive attributes of the demolition sets. They may also use a Volc/Mad hybrid, though this is generally riskier due to negative buffs on certain statuses, most notably shock. (Ugh, Shock.)

Well, enough explanation, now for the good free stuff right?

Well yes!

Alright, so this is how it'll go:

I will host a random special event, with a post saying what the requirements are to fulfill the event and get the chance at a weapon.

Example:

"Event: Messaging Time
First 10 people to message me within 24 hours will receive a chance at a bomb!
Bomb Type: Fiery Vaporizer
Explanation of Bomb: ~~~~
Winner: TBA"

In the case of a "Random" Choice between the first couple like the above post, I will use my TI-84's RandInt Generator, so all drawings are fair, with everyone given an equal chance at the bomb.

Event: Kickoff of The Bombing Goodwill campaign
Requirements: Simply post on this thread saying "I want the bomb!" Anyone who posts gets a chance at winning. At the end of 23 hours (9:35 PM PDT 05/12/12), I will close the event and announce a winner! 1 post per person, any extra posts will get you disqualified. (Trying to keep things orderly)
Bomb Type: Freezing Vaporizer
Explanation of Bomb: Freezing Vaporizer goes into the Shivermist Buster line. Shivermist Buster is the penultimate crowd control bomb, almost entirely sacrificing damage in exchange for locking enemy movement down in its entirety. Its a favorable early bomb, but does become weaker as time starts to pass. It is, however, the best bomb to learn the art of haze bombing, and as a trainee's weapon, performs decently. Just make sure to keep a damaging weapon handy or play with a group. Also be careful of trapping yourself, Freeze stops ALL movement, so you wont be able to simply shield bump out of an impending crisis. Also know that the Shivermist Buster makes the T3 boss, Vanaduke, a breeze, but you needn't worry about that till you get there!
