Recently I've been trying out a way to earn crowns fast. Basically I kept on doing two levels of RJ and not getting wiped, it gave us more crowns than the energy we spent, so we can keep on buying CE to play, AND it gave us tons of mats.
Pro Crown Tip!
Yeah, this is so hard to find out, I'm sure you guys are by far the first to figure this out.
Amazing!
Problem: This was figured out a year ago.
And, FSC is better.
GWW is better.
Oh wait...
But yeah, that's mostly how profit is achieved, except it's done in FSC (tier 3).
And those "tons of mats" you get are basically worthless. But it's always fun getting 4 digits of gel drops for the first time.
You can use those mats to make weapons and armor to sell on the Auction House. The profit isn't much, but it might beat out the profit from the individual mats put together. If you're short on energy, just use the mist from the days you can't really play that much. Otherwise, Tom's right. Everyone runs Royal Jelly Palace like clockwork (heyo!) so the materials from it are very, very common and essentially worth nothing.
Good luck on your crown hunt, though! Don't forget to sell weapons and armor you aren't using - every little bit counts.
Doing the entire FSC is vastly more profitable than doing just the non-Vanaduke levels if you can reliably take down Vanaduke with no more than 1 CE rez/knight.
FSC without Vanaduke is about 7k crowns, with Vanaduke about 10k crowns. The reason are the Vanaduke tokens - you can get 1k each with no effort. Only you can't trade them in in groups less than 30.
Even if you revive twice per player on Duke for a total of 40 CE used to beat him, it is profitable to beat him.
3K (3 tokens) > 2.8K (4*700; cost of ce)
inb4 FSC is better
