This is written in a bit unusual way, but please read it.
T3 is too easy. FSC is too easy. Why? Because my guildmates run FSA all the time. You virtually always have a brony chopping slags at FSC.
Now: if FSC is not a challenge, Shadow Lairs are - as mr Serian pointed out - not worth it, then what is left I ask? I refuse to challenge myself with underpowered equipment during the game (I can press the keys with my face as well or hole the keyboard upside down), because it is the responsibility of the game to provide me with a challenge.

*Reminiscence*
Remember how the graveyards used to be a living hell? How you were reaching the elevator as the last man standing, with your heart beating like crazy because you know that your friend died at a hand of phantom and it is you that everypony is counting for you? This is what I miss...
I miss that feeling when I saw a fang of Vog some year ago - you had to recover it from the very depth of a hell that you I had no idea about.

*Reality*
Now there is no achievement even in the SL items. The only difficult to come-by items are worthless accessories, which only prove that the one having them has a huge pile of cr and no better way of spending them.

*Hope and... solution?*
Do you know what is a "purring cap"? There is only one in the entire game. This is the kind of item that would be worth of going through a real hell. Because there is only one known. Because it has some awesome, but not overpowered stats. We need such items. Items that are limited. Available only to the really skilled players. Lying at the very heart of maelstrom, where no ce revival is possible and only the trully skilled warriors can reach.
I do not care that I will not acquire such an item. At least I could bask in the glory of it once in a while playing a game with one who has it.

*Important note: one limited item - one player. Hoarding is bad! Let the items lie dormant, let the area where you can obtain the be accessible only the full moon or whatever... Items must be rare, precious and gloriously awesome.*

Sigh.....

You are one of so many people complaining about this game being so easy. Check the forums, its littered with such threads.

And limited items? let me think...NO!

One of the charms of this game is that the items ARE ACCESSIBLE TO EVERYONE AND ANYTIME!

Did you see the rage in this forums when the Rocket Hammer and Dark Retribution was placed as rewards for completing OCH expansion DLC with has to be paid with real cash? Any more limited items type concept with severely increase the chasm between the "haves" and "haves-not", "F2P" and P2P" etc etc.

Rare items should be there as rare drops, not as items that is hidden behind any kind of wall.

Hate rare items...

That DarkFang (or whatever it is) shield is awesome.
I heard only 4 people have aquired one....
Sounds like something I'll never get.

@Infidelslayer

Where have I written that the access to the hell has to be paid? I have suggested some temporal limitations, such as "full moon" etc. And amount limitations - but no CE limits. No need to rage.

Dark Fang shield? I will look into that :)

Spiral, Prime, and ??

Prime bombheads hit the auction block every once in a blue moon...

Spiral I'll admit I haven't seen.

after that you list gm only accessible items.

I agree... rare as heck items should be more available. Legendary items of legend if you will.

However, with the ease of completion in t3... You know they'll only be available in one area currently... SLs

Or there'll be a release of SL arcade runs... in which depths 1-29 have nothing but pure curse, poison and (insert third status) hells. Where gremlin menders could kill you by simply waving their wands around.

even if there were a release of 100 items/accessories that are able to be found every other month (I'm saying 100 copies of [insert epic accessory/item] with snowball's chance drop rate) the devs would likely see more action from the community. Say they release the shock troika into the SLs as a drop chance... or give us a 10-20 floor run where we have to absolutely survive everything with 0 rez's/revs and only an arsenal every fifth floor (I'm talking gauntlet on every floor) then they'd likely see a crapton of cash flow in.

however, this type of thing is unlikely to happen. Because the community is so full of QQ'ing it's not funny. I wouldn't mind seeing it though.

PS the release should be unbound that way if the guy wants to sell or show or trade it... they can.

This would be another reason to give guildhalls showcasing places... legendary items in a guild = good guild to be with.

Scissors

Actually, a bunch of my friends have scissor blades. And I once had a zee core, which was given to me, which I sold for 130k crowns. And third of all, I once did an fsc run with a guy with a darkfang shield, but I didn't think much of it.

Actually no, the Purring Cap is a developer-only item. There are as many of them as there are developers who decide they want to wear them.
