Four star gear suggestions?

I've currently got Cobalt Helm, Jelly Shield, Vitasuit Plus and Calibur/Prismatech Alchemer.
What should I upgrade to now that I'm trying to get four star gear?

The Miracle Hood/Cloak are
The Miracle Hood/Cloak are good, aswell as the Ashtail Cap/Coat(for sword purists), Sunset Duster/Stetson(for gun purists), Heavy Demo Suit/Mask(for bomb purists), and the Salamander and Virulisk sets for people who like doing Royal Jelly a lot.
For Shields, Wise Owlite and Stone Tortoise are the only viable options.

The Stone Tortoise shield is
The Stone Tortoise shield is only a cheap alternative to better shields.
I haven't done any real testing on the Stone Tortoise itself, but if you ever get hit by Vanaduke's mace (lol) with an Omega Shell it breaks instantly.
Volcanic Plate Shield holds up quite fine though (But I guess it can partly be the fire and stun resist on the shield too).
So I'd suggest a Heavy Plate Shield for your 4 star shield.

What about the Swiftstrike
What about the Swiftstrike Buckler?
Personally, I'm in a Salamander suit with a Miracle hood, and I'm loving it. I even love the look. Might not suit your style perfectly, of course.
The Calibur line of swords, also, just plain seems to stay good. I can't say the same of other cobalt-type gear.
