Lag Issues

I'm just wondering if Spiral Knights is normally retardly laggy 95% of the time or if it's just my internet that's goofing up.
This last week in particular has been Lag City. Anyone having similar problems with lag or is this a normal thing?
Also, I'm not talking about small time lag. I'm talking about teleporting around the map, waking up after 10-60 seconds of not being able to move and being dead, and other instances of the game cheating me out of energy (I go solo mostly).

thwy said they fixed the lag but I still have masive lag spikes and agents lumbers, retrodes, and darkfang twackers that is not good when they said they fixed the lag they really compressed it to lag at certin times
I only have lag when my internet is not working right, like the past week.
