Finding another game like SK gameplay, help...

Well,

SK is the best game I've played so far... because I say it? Especially the gameplay and the camera view

Gameplay:

I use the WASD keys to move, Mouse1 attack and mouse2 defend. I hate point and click games.

Camera:

I love the third person fixed camera like diablo.

Sword:

I love the physics, the sword swings, especially sealeds swings and toothpick moves

....

Well, I'm kind of tired with the way the game is taking, every move of OOO is for $ ...

I dont think is bad, pay to play, but when it becomes very visible, for me ... the game gets boring... im feel used

I dont need guild anymore ...

In the past I needed a guild to give me a ride to go to the FSC, JK and stuff ... The mission ended with this ... Clockwork Gates are abandoned

Now the noobs can turn into 5* with just one click ... yeah CE can do magic huh?

For me the OOO just want to suck all money they can ... and thats it ...

I know the fanboys are going to write here, sarcastic answers, but I would like tips... other games with this gameplay, view camera and sword stuff that I can try

Have you tried the new rescue camp missions?

They're setting up something for future main-story (aka: non-expansion) missions with a gremlin theme.
I'd give it at around a month or two from now before we start seeing t2 and t3 content.

There aren't really any other games I can think of that use top-down view, similar control scheme, and focus on melee attacks. I haven't played it yet, but I heard Alien Swarm is kinda like being a gunner, with more guns lol.

My friends and I made a cute little single player flash game that was kinda inspired by Arrietty and Binding of Isaac where you could switch between a toothpick bow/arrow and thumbtack sword and the maps were randomly generated, but that's still nowhere close to the amount of stuff you'd find in Spiral Knights (well, we only did spend like 3 days making it). Spiral Knights kinda does take a bit from zelda and bomberman, while feeling like its own thing.

Also, you're a little blind if you think noobs-turning-5*-just-buying-some-CE-with-cash" is a new thing. This possibility has been around from the beginning and has RARELY been anything I've actually run into, and I play PUGs often.

Not related, but I've been F2P from the beginning (mid-april 2011). I haven't found any other free games like this, haha.
I played Dungeon Defenders for a bit (uh, near obsessively for a few weeks in December). For a while, I thought it kinda felt like action-SK (jumping, running, slashing, skills), but reaching end-game, it truly is Tower-Defense at its core, its game design is evil, and it's super grindy.

At least the experience you get at the beginning of SK is pretty much consistent throughout.

Most of the good MMOs require constant payment. At least SK doesn't require you to buy CE every few weeks.

getting back to the thread: Why dont you buy Diablo 3 just one time 60$ and then you can play forever :P still cheaper then SK when you play like a year and always buy CE

But i do agree with you the Crystal Chronicles SUCKED, I couldn't even go through half the game because it was so dang boring.
But you cannot say the whole series sucks because of one game.

I will say this... Final fantasy is a hell of alot better than zelda. And that's saying alot about FF.

Zelda always put me to sleep, no matter what. And always felt really old and cheesy.

i agree with a lot in the OP.

SK is the best game I've played so far... because of the game play and the camera view (VERY IMPORTANT)

Game play:

Other things I love:

the fighting and evading is very clear. I can always see what's happening in the fights.

the intro for new players is very well-thought out

the chat is easy to see and use

the anime-ish appearance. I don't like very realistic character games.

maybe some drawback:

every knight is basically the same kind of fighter

i have looked and looked for another game even a little similar to SK and i keep getting cookie-cutter generic games that basically all look the same and suck in the same ways.

I've already checked out all the games mentioned in this thread, and none of them were good.

So any other games you might suggest?

Try any game from the Y's franchise, specially Oath In Felghana. It's known for having really cool and challenging boss fights and it matches to what you're looking for. Note that Y's I and II have bumping car mechanic for combat and you might not like it.
