So I noticed that all the slooms went missing... is there a particular reason for this? Also, will there ever be a sleep-inducing weapon?

You may be confusing slooms with soul jelly.

Soul jelly?

Slooms are the lichens that have a giant "Z" inscribed on their core. They cause sleep and drop the "Zee core", which is an utterly useless material.

Thoughts

What are your thoughts on the sleep-inducing weapon?

Been suggested and shot down.

Sleep is a worthless affliction as it heals monsters. The Ailment itself needs to be reworked before the slooms/soul jelly will be reimplemented. Personally, I think it out to be akin to a mix of stun and fire (deals far, far less per tic, however), akin to a sleep depraved knight.

@Cryoworld: Soul Jellies

@Cryoworld: Soul Jellies still exist, they are just rare (they are the blue jellies with a skull inside).
