Lol. Officer can demote another officer. This is very funny. So that's mean Guild Master can demote another Guild master too?
NOTE: Doesn't know this should move to New Recruit or General Discussion.

It depends on tenure. The first officer i promoted could demote the second officer, and the guild master i promoted could be demoted by me as well.
I thought that officers couldnt promote to officers or couldnt demote officers.
I guess I was wrong.
It works by senority.
If player a becomes officer before player b player a can demote/kick player b, but player b cannot demote/kick player a.
One subtlety:
Seniority is determined by time since promotion, not total time as an officer. If you spend one year as a guild master and five minutes as an officer, then when you return to GM rank, all the other GMs will have seniority over you.
It's all explained on the wiki. http://wiki.spiralknights.com/Guild
The senior officer can demote any other officer in the guild. This also applies to Guild Masters.
