Wild Hunting Blade for the
Wild Hunting Blade for the style, Dread Venom Striker for the utility. I would take the WHB anyday just to spit Wolvers at each strike <3
But if you want a truly effective weapon, look somewhere else.

Wild Hunting Blade
I would prefer Wild Hunting Blade cause its useful and vanadukes mask and its so stylish..............I have 1 and i love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!But the DVS is slightly better cause it has a status effect..

Please, don't. This was answered more than a year ago. Bopp even said it had been answered several times more than a year ago. The WHB is not superior to the DVS against Vana, regardless. The reason is that the DVS has superior attack speed and inflicts poison. The Beast bonus of the WHB does nothing in the Throne Room of Firestorm Citadel.

Nice necro. Wild Hunting Blade is superior by the way (I have one). Why? Cutter lines are useless (OOO are awful at gear balance), so if you are getting one you might as well get the stylish one with the unique animation.
Main function of both is to provide high single target DPS, usually on nonmoving or hard to move targets (Lumbers, Trojans, Turrets)
Dread Venom Striker's poison ability is handy, and its rapid attack pattern will usually inflict poison (Proc rate is actually really low) inconsistently. Once in two full combos at least, but said target would usually be dead when two combos are in.
Wild Hunting Blade's charge attack has been known to induce consistent flinching with certain targets.
I'm either highly paranoid or DVS ghost swipes have slightly more range than WHB ghost wolvers. Don't trust this part completely, it's unconfirmed.
