Does OOO ever plan on fixing stun? Like ever? It's a detrimental and suicidal status effect that causes enemies who are mid-attack to instantly finish(but they still finish their attack normally, making it double) and enemies who do attack under the influence of it, have attacks that in no way match the visuals which are massively desynced(this is less of a problem to me but is still troublesome). Most unpredictable of all is that the bomb randomly inflicts the status as enemies are in it meaning you can be doubly pounded at a moment's notice. Even the Callahan hitting Vanaduke means insta-mace of doom to someone in front of him. However when a player is afflicted with this status, it doesn't have these negative side effects at all. In the middle of an attack? We'll cancel that and make you stand in place for an hour to think about what you've done. Why doesn't it do that on enemies?
I didn't get this bomb so I could be stuck using it only for PvP, I got this bomb so I could have a beneficial status that makes it easier to deal with enemies... What I got was the ultimate troll bomb that I pull out when I'm irritated and need heat. Venom Veiler could meet my demands sure, but I want something that weakens the movement of the enemy like the Shivermist or Voltaic but doesn't have the drawback of being unable to shove the enemies around. Also, I got it a few sad months ago so I could pile the status onto enemies who are shocked or frozen but until they fix the way stun works, that won't be happening any time soon.
I'm starting to consider hitting F2 daily to remind OOO that their stun is bad, and that they should feel bad.
If you start placing the bombs before mobs start spawning you'll be fine.
