He seems to be just another knight, so I don't see any reason why he should have special gear just for him.

Because every single knight goes around haven dressed as a Stranger, don't they?
It will be a Rhendom spam for a week or so since launch and everything will get back to normal, just like every time they make a new costume/acessory.

You can also make discoloured versions of NPCs.
Magic hood plus Cobalt and Gamerface with bolted vee= Wegner.
Solid Colbalt+ Blue Pith= Hahn.
Azure Guardian+ Mighty Colbalt= Valeyn.
Wolver+ Stanger hat+ that scanner accessory=Most strangers.
I agree with similar set(heater shield recolour?, Prismatic version of armour, ? Demo helm).
Also, I would like the petit armour to be usable....
