So, we crash to cradle, and we are stuck with only spiral technology. And all of it is incredibly weak.
BUT WAIT! Rhendon is carrying a blitz needle! And if i'm not mistaken, the blitz needle uses some materials that are of gremlin tech, as well as materials that you need to reach the depths of hell to obtain!
I'm on to you rhendon...

The knights gave him better
The knights gave him better gear because of the project used to give a fighting chance for "special knights" on field, if you notice the poor guy can't even fire that thing right... He makes less damage than an usual knight with proto gear.
But we should all use him as an example of perseverance as he never gives up, even with such odds against him.

And i'm pretty sure supply depot is disabled during the first missions.
Not to mention he willingly gives the artifact to razwog, and we still go boom and survive.

The blitz requires nothing that cannot be made off the cradle. And has no mention of Gremlin origins.
Also, the luminite is simply a source of energy, which could come from other sources.

They need a high lv knight to help defend the recuits.
Also, think about Virgil. He is in a guardian set with a LEVI.
I'm guessing that they were delivered that, or Both of them were recuited long before the crash(hinting that all player knights are newbies, hence the ranking).

Rhendon's not a traitor, he's just highly incompetent.
It's highly possible he crafted his Blitz like the rest of us, by adventuring, gathering materials, and alchemizing one. In addition, the entire "standard" series of weapons (Leviathan, Valiance, Nitronome) all use Gremlin materials. Does that mean we're all Gremlins? Nope, we had other methods of manufacturing them, and now that they're lost to us, we make do with cobbling what we can find into similar weapons.
Volcanic Iron isn't restricted to Cradle, it just happens to be there. Oregon grows pumpkins, does that mean every pumpkin in the world has to originate from Oregon?
Rhendon brought a Blitz needle to a place full of constructs, when he likely had a ton of other options. Any knight worth their salt knows that Blitz Needles are really bad against constructs (50 damage on charge at D27 anyone). Not much of a stretch to think that he goof'd up somewhere else, and was sent back to protect newbies because he was a squad liability.
And stop with the ad hominem.
