So I've just started getting addicted to this Shadow Lair business and was wondering what weapons I should be using. First question: Does shadow damage mean it's better against shadow affiliated monsters?
That's really all I need to know about weapons but alas I was wondering one more thing.
Is it worth it to roll for Max Elemental and Max Piercing on my Crest of Almire? I already have a low piercing crest, a medium def UV Grey Owlite, and a non uvd barbarous thorn.
I run almarian crusader high shadow uv, azure UV low shadow, medium piercing, low freeze or vog set with low freeze and medium def.
You should read the Damage page on the wiki. It will explain you everything you need to know about the different types of damage and how they work against which monsters. Shadow Lair isn't special in that regard.
No, it's not worth rolling UVs on shield as much as on weapons. SK is an offensive game, so you'd better get offensive UVs instead, and there are none on shields.
