Getting back in after a disconnect.

An issue I've noticed now and then when I occasionally get disconnected, I'll be doing, say, a floor in the clockworks.
I might disconnect now and then, and that's a given, and your system seems to be almost competent in returning me and whom I presume knights/players with the same issue.
However I've noticed that it has issues now and then in returning me to my place, like about 2 minutes ago I randomly got disconnected and brought back to the login screen, logged back in immediately, and instead of returning me to the floor I was doing, it put me in the ready room, having wasted my energy.

It's not as-large of an issue for a party since the person can just join their friends but solo players (like myself) take this as a blight since we completely lose our progress.

I hope there is a way you can remedy this issue.

Normally when your SK

Normally when your SK abruptly disconnected, the game will consider you being idle. If you log back in within 15 minutes you should be brought back to where you were.

However there is an exception - when everyone in the party is dead, the game will put you on a timer (3 minutes IIRC). Since you are solo'ing the timer started immediately. When the timer ends you will be sent back to Haven.

I think that is what happened to you.

While that is plausible

While that is plausible Evilnut, this happened in Tier 1 with higher-star gear and full health.

I logged back in as fast as I disconnected.

I sincerely doubt two Tier 1 zombies could kill me in less than 10 seconds.

I mean, I was surrounded by fiends at another juncture in Tier 2 and I came back fine and dandy, I don't see how T1 Zombies can out-damage Fiends with a clear shot at me.

I used to kill JVM to restart

I used to kill JVM to restart SK client, and I never have problems getting back in where I was, even when solo.

5* gears are scaled down in Tier 1, to make the game at least a bit more exciting for veteran knights when they decide to go back. Your armor do not have as much buffer as you think.

Try it! Go back to Tier 1 with a friend (monsters only get more HP with more players, not more damage), and let some zombies claw at you and see how long it takes for them to kill you.

Also, zombies when at melee range can swipe very frequently, while fiends (the overworked cubicle dwellers they are) tend to spend some time to dodge about and chill.

While that is true, what that

While that is true, what that armor was implying was that I would take very little to no damage, not even half an HP bar per swing, not to mention vitapods.
And the Tier 2 also was inferring that the fiends were more-aggressive and could take out more hp.

It just seems exceedingly unlikely that I get disconnected for a minute or two and I survive with a few fiends throwing junk at me in T2, whilst a zombie or two clawed me to death within 10 seconds in T1.

Well, I have no concrete data

Well, I have no concrete data about what really happened, I was guessing based on your information (you mentioned 2 minutes in first post), which sounds about right for the revive timer.

Another possibility is that you accidentally pressed Alt-F4 (or whatever key combination for non-Windows platform) inside SK. That will log you out immediately instead of making the server thinks you're idle.

Thing is that it brought me

Thing is that it brought me back to the login screen, so I doubt I hit Alt+F4, since that usually closes the program out entirely.

I'm really just trying to see if they could somehow change how that worked so that way situations like this happen less-often, though now I'm unsure whether this belongs in here or a suggestion thread.

Then this isn't about getting

Then this isn't about getting back to where you were... you were taken back to where you were, in Haven, as the revive timer ended. Make a suggestion about extended the revive timer then... say, to 5 minutes?

Part of me thinks the timer is there to urge you to quickly press the "Get CE" button and purchase CE at a not-so-ideal price... :P

Or at least let me have the

Or at least let me have the option to revive myself if I log back in within 30 seconds of disconnect death (IF that is what happened), that kinda works I guess.

I'm having this problem right now.

I disconnect a couple times a day, on average, and almost always I end up in the ready room after only having being gone for 10-30s. And disconnections when I'm watching live streams lead me to believe that my disconnection spikes are only 3-10s long.

I don't know why I get removed from the party instead of sitting there with a d/c symbol above my head like everyone else.
