Did the Mission "Viscious & Viscous" get a Make-Over or am I not remembering things Correctly?

A Friend of mine, Rikku, is currently going through this Mission & she believes the Mission looks very Different from the Original.
I haven't done this Mission in a Very Long time. I only remember Zero, Iron, & I going together & fighting in what looked like a T3 Version of "Rise or Fall."
Here are some Pictures she managed to Take:

Please, if anyone knows an Update or Thread of this Mission's Change, Link it.

The Mission had Quicksilvers, Volt Knights, Sparkies, & T3 Gremlin Mendors.
Even though it was Challenging, it certainly was Entertaining.

I meant it was linear in the sense I could go down the clockworks and do an arena which is if not the same, similar.
And you can only do things so much till they become boring, no matter how hard.
Not that I did it much. [bless] shock arenas I say!

i'm having trouble creeping on your crowns and ce......mind removing those black boxes?

Just did this mission to see what they changed. Pretty cool, but the number of treasure boxes are greatly reduced compared to regular arenas >:(

Iron, everyone knows it's you.
Also, you noticed just now? Seriously, where've you been?

Dude, do you have dissociative identity disorder or something?
Also: "i'm having trouble creeping on your crowns and ce......mind removing those black boxes?" "No."
That means 'No I don't mind'. People mix that up a lot.

"Dude, do you have dissociative identity disorder or something?"
A little bit.
I'm trying to make a Spiral Knights Creepypasta, if you guys must know.
I've got the Story Figured out, just not the Wording.
"Also, you noticed just now? Seriously, where've you been?"
Farming RJP, just like everybody else.(Except they probably do FSC.)

Quote from there: "- Battle Arena-style mission levels have received an overhaul and now feature new rooms and a slick new presentation."
Nifty new and shiny at first, but ultimately a downer for my friends and I that went to the 8-1 one right after the update; too easy, and not getting back the elvator cost.
I like the old style arenas, and I like The Gauntlet. (The only boring bit there is the long stretches of empty corridors, but you get them almost anywhere.)

Am I the only one being somewhat upset about the treasure box situation after the update? I think I saw about 10 boxes in total, all green. A normal arena has 10 boxes after the last room alone, I don't remember the red to green ratio but it was certainly higher than 0:all.
Yeah I know, incentive to do clockworks, bla bla bla. The bosses are all the same, so I don't see why the arenas should be different. It just seems unnecessary, that's all.

so, as i was saying, the quantum time continuation in 1965 invented by Robert Mitchell, was commonly known as "the fool", after that he quit the business and sold his family, his home, and his shoes....he no longer had a place in the world, he was a nothing....a nobody, then he became a chocolate salesman, he thrived there and brung joy to the world! but he died the day after he begun selling chocolate.
OOO made the change to make them both;
1. More interesting, they are no longer a linear arena... Finally, they were boring before.
2. And to also reduce the payout of the mission, it was being way over-played because of how much profit you got from it. People were neglecting the Clockworks, so OOO made another incentive to go to the clockworks. The Clockwork's arenas are still the same as the ones you will remember so want good arenas? Go delve into the clockworks.
Unfortunately although I've been around for awhile I don't know how to link x) But look in the announcement forum, there are update threads in there, read the more recent ones, ONES. I doubt it's in the most recent one.
EDIT: It's in the one dated May 9th. Here's the quote about the make-over though;
'- Battle Arena-style mission levels have received an overhaul and now feature new rooms and a slick new presentation.'
Eeyup, a well needed make-over.
