It's too expensive for us to buy it atm.
Some even think of not buying it not unless the price goes down.
Hope you guys will do something
Lower the price of ce
Well, you're minorly smarter than some other CE ragers. You didn't rage and you actually said that some people wont buy it till it goes down, so nice job actually doing the right thing.
On the other hand, this happens every time. And like I said in the other 900000000000000 posts about the same topic (IF you thought of searching this up first >_>)
For every rage thread I see,I want CE that much more to go past 9k. Why? Because people like you never seem to understand that THIS HAPPENS EVERY TIME.
Its basic economics at this point
I'll let someone else list out everything I didn't already say, since I have to go to school and take some final tests.
And any rich people seeing this can help raise the price to beyond 8k. Make it 10k for all I care.
Some people pay real money for ce. I'm not one of them, but I think they deserve an overblown price now and then.
Sure, back when I was just starting (6kcr for 100ce back then - came in with flood from steam looking for coal and snowballs - and then the price went up) I was typing "/rant at ce price." quite a bit.
But now I'm ok with it. I mean, if you don't pay real money, what do you lose, for real, if you get those whithout whom none of us could play a little more for their real cash?
What I don't like is gaps in the bids. Seriously, the next guy who's going to put in same or more cr as a bid is going to do that ANYWAY.
If all gaps were removed, price would probably be 5k or so, if not less.
Feature request: all bids be visible (scrollable or something).
Asking for gaps to be removed would probably be a bit much. After all, I suspect some people create them deliberately to raise the price (I doubt it's all just "OCD Must. Do. This. Number.", "Hah, yeah, that'll show you.", and the irrational "Yay, this'll be clicked instantly." causes for gaps). But I'd really like to see the whole range of bids.
The CE price is the balance between, buys and sellers, the price rising is keeping buyers in check (the OP) hoping for a lower price. This however will not happen unless more CE is made available or F2P players leave the game, to produce a real reduce in demand. Bottom line is... more energy is needed in the market, to support this user base level, this can be done by players buying more energy or by 3 rings giving "better value" packs, so the same about of dollars provides more energy on the market. While having a higher CR price, does encourage it a little, as a person who has paid for energy myself, getting more crowns for CE is of little interest to me as I can always grind myself to get what I need. What is need is for people like myself to want to go out and buy an energy pack, as I do not feel the normal 3 rings packs offer me a good enough bang for my buck, I am as may are waiting for the next offer.
However I have been very disappointed with the way the special offers are going, I am not a gambler, in the "old days", of rose sets, you got a good item yes some were a little better but all were good, but not like today... when we have specials and normals, the normal ones looking so bad they are practically worthless. If I am buying an energy pack, with a 10% chance, of a good item rather than an worthless one, its not the kind of offer I am interested in. As it is not increasing my bang for my buck significantly. You say... buy more packs... I just don't want to buy 10-20 packs to get a statistical average in the probabilities.
I dislike how we live in a few colour world, this the only bright colours sets are Divine, Volcanic and Shadow... Whats wrong with Green, blue or Gold like in the Redux sets, these were not the "highlights", but rather the base colours. Regal Dragon wing, were a complete disappointment, being basically a set of green wings with gold points.... not what you would have expected.... GOLDEN wings. Either way though Dragon wings were nice, it was very disappointing they were just reskined, with a few tweeks to fix the disappointing prismatics, which were too dull.
The Love aura... promo... was spot on.. it was dirt cheap too, had a reasonable accessory, shame it was not active on Feb 14th (in any timezone!), how difficult is it to look a calender?
The next big promo was the party one, the problem with that was there were too many objects, most of them looked terrible and even the ones that were good colour matches, (volcanic, shadow, divine) were made to be rare.
Then we have the introduction of a new type of gambling, mirrored lock boxes.... no thanks.....
Bottom line in is, if we want CE prices to drop we need people to have a good reason to by CE for dollars, either this will be because its just to expensive to use crowns (not what most people want... but a valid result) or 3 rings needs to do a good promotion, either a great value one (like the explorer pack/love pack), or one with great accessories/costumes and a high chance to get something good. (Preferably everything is a "good" one like the rose sets were). If this does not happen, my Dollars will remain in my pocket, and I will just wait to get what I want "naturally". The final way is for 3 rings to produce so much fun you content I simply must go out a by CE (and exchange it to crowns) to access it. But the sad fact is most new content requires more energy not more Crowns, even having the recipes in machines, means the few crowns need to buy the first time are not needed.
I think we should raise the prices of CE.
It would be interesting to see the price of CE to double or triple and/or convert the 'paying' userbase to buying ONLY elevator passes..
->just to see what would happen<-
The free ride ends when you beat up snarby for your full 2* set. Tier 1 is the demo of the game, it is at this point you choose to pay for the rest of the game or to walk away.
As soon as you trade for any CE or any gear that needed CE for its craft, you enter the pay2play group - sometime, somewhere, someone had to pay for that CE with dollars. There is no distinction between f2p and p2p, we are in the same boat. It is exactly the same as if someone had let you play a coin-op arcade machine with their quarter - even if someone gives you 1 unit CE out of charity, money was spent. The fact that it wasn't your money is irrelevant.
SK operates on the trope of Unobtainium. It can not created by man, only by 'God' ($). Yet such a precious resource is trivial to destroy..
It's odd that we crunch those minerals for some story about powering the core or somesuch nonsense. You know if this was a one-time purchase console game the minerals would be the source of CE.. which is why it would be interesting to see what would happen if/when magic wands (CE promos) fail to keep fueling the gas tank. That's right, CE is like fossil fuel - it will always be there, well.. until we run out.
ummmm, there is a difference. I think that you are trying to get at the fact that there are people that pay to play, but there are people that are free to play that get the items that were payed for with $$$ through in-game items
I agree with Dirt. He is becoming wise.

+1 to Dirt
Been thinking that since April.
EDIT: Exerpa has a good point aswell. Doesn't matter if you pay for CE with cr, someone else had to put the CE into the game with their money. And that money is what generates CE for you people. Yeah its basically infinite, but technically those who want to stay "f2p" need to not whine about having a disadvantage.
Let's get the basics:
"I got that energy with my money, I'll sell it at whatever price I want"
"If you dont like my prices, go ask someone else or get your own energy"
A rude way to say it but it's the thruth. Dont most real-world trades (ie. a supermarket) work like that?
But it is a problem when it gets to the point of disrespecting OOO and saying that THEY need to do things to keep the balance. The community is the responsible ones in this market type, it was already stated that it is run by US, the players. And even so, people say that it is OOO's fault. Instead of helping all those newbies that just arrived, you are most likely driving them away.
BTW, just in case: I don't care at all of the price myself, I already got EVERYTHING I need. But that was before, when CE prices WERE affordable.
The problem with high CE prices is that it locks out new players who may not have the option of buying CE with real-world money. It's fine for people running around in full 5* gear, because they can generally afford to pay the in-game prices (although I don't, as running around in full 5* means I can also afford not to), but for newer players with less disposable income, it's a bit of a slap in the face. I know I never would've stuck around if I had to grind for weeks just to upgrade to 3*.
CE prices are high, but WHO CARES?! YOU! I could care less. :P
i agree with this. the price is too easily raised by random people. the prices need to be made lower and more constant (like how energy packs paid with money don't increase, but remain at a specific price point).
PLease do something about this!
