Damien, it's more of a mercy rule than anything else, especially with the new scoring system.
I played 5 matches, still no new maps.
I don't want mercy, i want to have fun.
I don't care if i'm losing, as long as people play fair, i'm having fun.

I'm told the maps are being shy at the moment, and it's being investigated. Sorry about that!

EDIT: looks like they will be patched, patch coming in 60 mins...
This fits in with the saying, every good patch goes wrong.

I'm actually kinda glad stadium is still in th works, means that more exciting things are yet to come ;) BTW did Crazy change any of the spike traps in downtown? I looked at the picture on facebook and it still looks all the same
The changes were minor, but I did change some of the spike traps based on the preview feedback:
- Removed some spike traps that created spaces that were not ideal to fight in
- Moved some spikes away from the team bases - specifically, the ones that originally lead to the center are now shifted to the south, opening up the straight rush to the center somewhat, but still making it difficult for the opposing team to flank the southern CPs
But I've got a few questions in mind. Weren't there actually three new maps on the Test build before downtime? I've read about them, but didn't get to participate in the Test Server yet. I heard that the two new maps, Downtown and Gardens, are live, but what about the third map, Stadium? Is the new map still in the works, Eurydice? Crazyoddbaa? Will it be ready very soon? I'm just being accurate. I'm sure someone can answer. Oh, by the way, what will be next on the line of new things coming to Spiral Knights real soon?

Haven't got on and played any T1 LD yet but you can bet this weekend I shall be playing constantly (The good thing about exams is you get no homework :DD ...I've done my exams btw :)) and I can bet I'll have even MORE fun than I had in the test servers with those over-powered weapons x) It was fun but I wanna use my firecracker again! Boom BOOM! >:D

Im very happy with this update, minus the connection problems it gave me for a few hours. Especially, bravo on Gardens, well done :). Thanks for the damage boost too! Entropize laughs.

Stealth Patch Found!
The servers were renamed from US East and EU West to USA and Europe
Also, I think its a neat little challenge to find the stealth patches... They can't remember EVERY little thing they change, and so its bound to happen... x3
Ah, but depending on your point of view, that could either be an inconsequential oversight or an insidious plot to undermine player agency and squeeze even MORE money from the player base.

Yeah, it is how you look at it... And I choose to see it as just something that was too small, or they just forgot was there. It is just a small group of developers and the like. They are people too! :3
New maps are a great change of pace. Gardens is nice and easy on the eyes. Haven't made an opinion on the new scoring system yet, but bravo on the new maps!

BTW! To everyone asking about stadium, I'm sure there's more working that crazyoddbaa is putting into it because there were a few things here and there. I agree, I really did enjoy the map but some of the things I thought should be changed because they gave players too much of an advantage or disadvantage.
I still don't understand why we lost the ability to "escape" out of dialogues like Vana's. It seems that the change that took "escape" away made all kinds of new problems to fix. And that are being fixed the hard way, like by restructuring levels... I dunno, seems like a lot of fixing what wasn't broken.
We should really be able to run out the full time limit on lockdown, early endings are just not fair to teams that might kick into high gear and suddenly win it.
