Im just a regular old skolver, FF, GF, trollaris spamming knight that is an average LD player. I play about 5-6 games everyday, and ever since I started seeing the pros, I saw them changing weapons really fast.
I for one use the space bar to change weapons, WASD keys, left mouse button as shield, and right mouse button for attack.
Is there a more efficient way to play LD, and more specifically, a more efficient way to change weapons?

I got a weird control scheme.
F = Weapon 1 (where I keep my Flourish)
V = Weapon 2 (where I keep my Voltaic Tempest
C = Weapon 3 (where I keep my Heavy Sword)
Q = Next Weapon
E = Previous Weapon

Weapon slot 2 (GF): Scroll down
Weapon slot 3 (Gun 1): Q
Weapon slot 4 (Gun 2): Spacebar
It will take some time to get used to play without prev/next weapon bindings, but it's definitely fastest and most efficient way to switch wepons.

I play primarily a recon in both random and Guild lockdown. I stick to the traditional WSAD movement, keep X as shield, keep Rightclick/Z as attack, and use my mouse to scroll for weapons.
When I'm on my laptop I use: WASD/Arrow keys for movement, X as shield, Z as attack, and I use numbers 1,2,3,and 4 to assign weapons to them. (If I have a Gran Faust assigned to weapon 1, and my Acheron to weapon 3, if I need to draw my Acheron I press '1' instead of pressing 'space' twice)
