Like those random friend
Like those random friend requests/guild invites without typing anything, and without ever saying a single word via chat to you. Sometimes they even do a hit and run, you can't even find the player sending it around you.
You gotta ask yourself: Why on Earth should people accept?
What other people could be in that guild if it is recruiting members so indiscriminately? What's the chance of it not filled to the rim with people that rub you the wrong way?

One of my guildmates do hit and runs. =) But I came to see that those were just his friends.
Move to Guild Recruitment.
