Just wondering if Drag lock under System Preferences-->Touchpad makes you log off automatically. And yes I am using a mac. I don't know if drag lock is accessible in PC though. (Drag lock locks you in a running character animation).

Hmm

I'd recommend changing your controls. I use a touchpad for my Macbook, having the touch pad as my way to face direction and as my action key. It's great to aim and strike quick. However, when I charge, and accidentally have 2 fingers on the touchpad, I'm locked in that position until I unleash the charge. It's a good change, but not perfect. (My problem happens once in a while, but not often)
Edit: Whoops!

Well what I meant was if drag

Well what I meant was if drag lock does in fact disconnect you because i'm away from my computer (sometimes for an hour to make food). And when I enable drag lock I don't want the game to disconnect me. Hope this clarifies what i'm trying to say.

If you use Steam, the Steam

If you use Steam, the Steam Overlay can keep you from disconnected due to idle.

Also note that you can use a non-Steam Spiral Knights account in the Steam client.

That's not true, Steam Overlay just acts like opening a menu and you can still be disconnected due to idling.

I tested. The idle timeout should be 15 minutes, so I logged in, enter Haven, and open Steam Overlay. I went browsing for 20 minutes, come back, and my knight was still in Haven.

Also field-tested by dragging a corpse all the way through FSC (suicide at the start of each level, then open overlay). Some of the levels (d25, d27, and Vana himself since I used Polaris instead of Blitz) most certainly exceeded the idle timeout.

I had overlay on and had dinner.

One hour later and it's still there.
