Just now in Haven 1, some guy was giving out free proto bombs to anyone who traded him. A lot of people did (for what purpose, I have no idea).
Just wondering, how is this even possible?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but it's my understanding that you can only get proto bombs when you create a new knight (ie. you are given one). And they can't even be unbound. So how is it possible that someone could have so many unbound proto bombs?

Starting gear is Any of your chosen armours, a Proto gun/shield/sword.
You can buy the Proto bomb from the stranger at the Rescue Camp. Only like 250cr or something.
