Hello all!

I took it upon myself to start a new thread about mission payouts. In case anyone is confused by what I mean, I'm talking about crown payouts, not material payouts. I have read through several other forums and threads researching which missions are the best to run for crown grinding. I want to start out by saying, I ran the missions I will list solo, unless otherwise stated. Since I started playing SK in late April of this year, I know nothing about previous payouts, mission nerfs, mission buffs, etc. I am simply laying out what I have personally acquired on a solo run. Furthermore, not all of these missions are available to everyone, keep this in mind if you haven't reached 5-2 rank missions yet.

If you have anything to add, please feel free to do so in a respectful, and polite way. I'm not here to read troll replies or arguments, I simply would like to gather more input on which missions have good payouts. If you think running a certain mission isn't worth the effort, don't run the mission. Please don't bother others that think those missions are favorable runs with useless commentary.

Mission 5-2 - Rise or Fall
full mission - 3 levels - solo
payout: 2,067
average payout per level: 689

Mission 5-2 - The Sovereign Slime
first 2 levels - solo
payout: 2,175
average payout per level: 1,087

Mission 6-1 - High Temperature Hostages
full mission - 3 levels - solo
payout: 2,461
average payout per level: 820
note: I have on 2 separate occasions obtained 2 item drops whilst running this mission. Those items being: Shadowtech Alchemer, and Firebreak Shield. Both items are 2* items.

Mission 9-3 - The King of Ashes
full mission - 5 levels - 4 party team
payout: 7,873
average payout per level: 1,574

I'm curious to know if running a mission solo versus a full party affects the payout of any of these missions, I don't know that it does, but it's just a curiosity I have. On a side note: I didn't run these missions several times and average them out, I decided that there wasn't much need to since any difference in the payout is only a few hundred crowns. At any rate, feel free to add any missions and their payouts to this thread. Hope this was helpful. :)

The amount of players in the

The amount of players in the party does not affect the number of crowns received.

Live long and prosper

Really? I had always heard that crown payouts scale with party size...

@PrinceBerton

Nope. Well, technically it does, but the amount of crowns any one person gets is identical (or as close as possible when a RNG declares the no. of crowns dropped, anyway).
Look at it this way...
The amount of crowns per monster does not go up for more people in the party.
Technically, more crowns are recieved due to the crown-collecting system in place, only because there are more people picking each individual crown up.

ah, good to know party size

ah, good to know party size doesn't ultimately affect payout rates. @Canozo, yeah that is one of the great things about soloing a mission, all the mats you get to hoard :3

Amber Bishop Gate

Just ran through the Amber Bishop Gate, started at level 8 and continued to t3 beginning point. I ran 10 levels, 8 of which were battle levels, the last 3 being the Roarmulus Twins, and I received 6,376 crowns. That makes an average of 797 crowns per level. So in comparison, running the t2 arcade levels is not very profitable as opposed to repeating missions. I realize running the arcade can alter by the random level we get, but it seems to me, for 8 levels at 797 crowns per level, it's still more profitable to run the mission Rise or Fall which had the lowest payout of the missions listed.

Amber Bishop Gate continued

just finished the t3 portion, got 6,615 crowns which averages 826 crowns per level. not significantly greater than t2, and not worth the risk of possible revs.

I run Shadow of the Beast

I run Shadow of the Beast (3-2) all the time, though the payout seems to vary quite a bit. I've gotten from 1.5k to 2.1k before, though on average I say I get at least 600ish cred per floor per run, not counting mats/tokens/gear (gotten spiral helm twice)

Given how fast these runs go, on stuff like free elevator weekends where energy doesn't matter, I'd say the pay off on SotB is pretty good via speed, though I dunno how quickly people do other runs by comparison (and the ease gets monotonous and boring)

Snarby is sorta slow for solo

Snarby is sorta slow for solo play. You have to run around triggering everything and carrying keys. It's not like RJP and RT, which have a lot of party buttons (which don't affect soloers) and the keys/statues/buttons are all after fighting a bunch of enemies, so they don't take time to use.

Also, Snarby's payout is pretty terrible, and only viable with elevator pass. I would claim that the t2 missions are the best on elevator passes, as you can finish them in 15 minutes.

I probably should have

I probably should have clarified that my average of at least 600 per floor was a full clear of 3; doing just the first two would raise that average as boss levels don't pay out as well as the two prior.

Ran some Built to Destroy (6-2) a couple of times this weekend solo. I'm getting ~2500 total payout for doing all three, but about 900-1050 average for just the first two levels, though I did miss a few fights so that number could be higher (usually only get ~300 cr for killing twins by my experience)

So in lue of the recent patch (where crown payouts were rebalanced) it seems like Roar was brought up to be closer to jelly runs. So I guess based on gear or choice of changing things up, it's might be better for some peeps to run BtD; I know I prefer to do those as I run mostly elemental defensive on my main build.

@Halifax OP requested people not argue about what people think are useful payout numbers and it is useful information to know about snarby runs as its the best payout in T1 currently, and comparable to Rise or Fall on top of being fast, easy and safe compared to other listed missions. I haven't timed myself per se but I'm pretty sure SotB levels dont even take 10 minutes to clear solo, let alone with a group and people do still run SotB assuming you don't want to run it solo.
