is this legit? I'm working on getting my tier 3 gear, and i would totally rather buy a recipe and make the things than buy them from other players. it's so much cheaper. for 450 CE about total i was able to make a ash coat cap (dusker/ash coat recipe, had a wolver on hand), it'd cost a ton more if i got it from someone.

so can these people actually get you to the tier3 basil or is this a scam?

It is possible to allow

It is possible to allow others to Basil.
Guilds generally leave a person off on their own
in the Clockwork Terminal,
while other people sell invites.

I have yet to try this out, but I am assuming they let
you Add the player inside the Terminal and then let you Join
them.

However, this does seem rather risky.

Yup

I've used these services 3-4 times now, every time i have used them they have been legit.

Besides, scamming is a bannable offense in SK isn't it?

Scamming is usually

Scamming is usually investigated and punished pretty well in this game, yes.

I've also used these types of offers to success before, so I'd suggest them. Just make sure you keep the name of the player in case they do scam you, and if they do, immediately file a report by hitting F2 in-game.

Or buy from reputable

Or buy from reputable sellers. Too many sellers these days though, and with the advent of the Auction House soon, you might as well hold out for proper trades.

What I do NOT advocate however is tryhards stealing a terminal access from legit sellers and selling it. No courtesy at all.
