Just so you know...
It's not amidst, it's 'amiss'. Amidst is akin to 'among'. 'Amiss' is 'not right'
Examples:
"Admist the shadows, the grey figure stood"
"...It's not right...something's amiss, this can't be happening..."

I constantly had AH wars back
I constantly had AH wars back in Decemeber, back when Stranger hats were 1 cr bid price and 3K buy price. I kept going for the 1 cr bid stranger hats, and log off. Later, I'd get outbid, and I'd go back and bid. By the end of the month, 9/10 of my inbox was spammed with outbid notices. Fortunately, I quit AH wars and simply bought the Stranger Hats at their buy prices.
My opponent believe it or not, was one of my guildmates, he kept getting outbidded so I asked him what it was:
~Guild Chat~
Zfjshfs: Gah, outbid again!
Isekuube: What are you bidding on?
Zfjshfs: Wolver Cap. Shadow Med.
Isekuube: :O
Isekuube runs to Haven.
Zfjshfs: NO!
We were bidding on a Wolver Cap Shadow Med. It started from 300 cr and went up to 3,200. Some, some random guy made it go up to 3k when it was in the 2ks. So I bidded on it to 3.2k and I was winning. Then, I went of to do some LD. I did not realize I got outbdded until I checked the AH later that day. It went up to 4.3k. No way I was going to bid on that again.
