I've seen plenty of T1 LD players use the charge attack on the Edge swords.
As for price checking, I've only heard a rumor that a Pummel Gun CTR VH went for 100k+.

Also, everyone gets these kinds of weapons from the mission system, but only for the 1* weapons. In other words, very common.
lockdown is asi centric, so probably not much
