I have spiralspy, but needless to say, I have a very basic knowledge of how to use it.

I can't even recolour the Spiral Culet to what I need it as.

Anyway, I'm asking for a screenshot/a freezeframe of my character in an action pose.

My looks is:

Ascended Calibur, Spiral Bombhead mask+Cool Mecha wings, Spiral Culet+Protocrest, Barbarous Thorn Shield, and my personal colour is Green(not sure which...).

Samples of my knight:

http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/470862413618797624/DA85CD43083A8BA728B...

The pose I am looking for is something like this:

At least the upper torso, for this pose, the rest of the body is somewhat irrelevant. Something similar is fine, I'm not really looking for an exact duplicate.

If it's easier, a screenshot of the sword at the end of it's cycle is fine, I don't mind either.

Or:

This one, which if memory serves, can be made by the charge attack animation.

Again, accuracy doesn't need to be precise.

Thanks if you can manage it. I have no idea if the first(either of the first ones) one is possible, but it is the preferred out of the two.

Note: If you're assuming I'm trying to copy Zero, judging by the Sample poses, I'm not. Just so happens that he uses those positions, and actually has a screenshot of them.

Thanks in advance.

i got dis

I've been recently interested in getting custom animations down in Spiral-Spy, so this fits right in with what I've been trying. I'll see if I can get some preliminary results later today.

hurr durr

As it turns out I wasn't able to work on this as much as I would have liked to today, but I threw this together. If that's kind of what you're looking for, hopefully switching the sword and shield shouldn't be too difficult. If not, lemme know and I'll work something out at some point.

In the meantime, I should really go to sleep. Gotta take a final in 7 hours and 32 minutes hurr durr...

Hm...

Perhaps remove the shield for the first pose. I didn't take into account the size of said item when considering it.

But thanks a lot Manal! If It doesn't get any better that your first attempt, it'd do fine!

Now get some sleep :)

Thanks for trying too Angelic, I'm keen to see what you made.

Done!

Awkay, it's finished and I'm fairly content with the result.

It's 1400x900, so feel free to use it as a wallpaper. Oh, yeah and I added my lil' signature. I hope it won't be an inconvineince. Also for some god-forsaken reason SS won't let me change your armor color. Sorry. :s

Coo. Nice work!

As long as your little siggy doesn't take up enough space that the guy can sit on it, it's fine :)

I'll add it to my 'list to choose between'. It's really nice! I think it's at the head of the line too. The only thing I can think of that can make it better is if you managed to get the Personal Colour right, but I know that doesn't work; tried it myself, that model doesn't seem to change it's colour.

I can do the second pose...

If someone can think of a way to send over the image, I can do the second one. Which skybox do you like?

Skybox?

What's that?

Also, uploading to Imgur or something is fine. It's free, and you don't need an account. Post the link to the page when ready.

EDIT: @Awesomesock You missed the Armband. Photoshop? Or did you actually manage to recolour it?

Sky box is map designer term

Sky box is map designer term for a box that depicts the sky of the map. The map is located in the box and thus becomes the map's background. Like the skies in the Clockworks.

Wow, nice Manal!

I don't think I'd ever be able to do something like that, ever.

A pity Happyapathy isn't here. He'd challenge you to a duel or something.

He either looks like he's Zero Dashing, or going to lop his head off overdramatically. XD

But seriously, thanks.

Man-a-licious~

No problem, Psycho. I was bored on my bus ride home, so I figured I'd give it another go. Not like I could have been doing something more productive like studying for another final I have tomorrow. No siree...

Anyway if anyone's wondering about how I did it, I actually had to recolor all the other parts of the armor (not the personal color parts). Using model_recolor.dat you're allowed to choose the personal color, but you have to do custom offsets on the other parts. I was able to find the proper offsets for each color scheme by looking into accessory models, but there's probably other places to figure that out. There's probably an easier way to go about doing personal colors by modifying the model_proto.dat (is that what it's called? I don't have my computer on me, but I'm assuming that's what Awesomesock used) since it has the standard color schemes built-in, but I just went with what I knew.

For the actual pose, I edited model_level.dat to add a custom animation mapping. I used defualt.dat (again not sure if that's right, I just know it was spelled wrong) under rsrc/animation/procedural or something. Then I just added target transformations or something for a bunch of the model's nodes until it looked right.

Not sure if that made any sense to anyone, but I thought I'd throw it out there.
