Things to remember in a party.

1. Don't hog all the items. Your team has a much better chance of survival if you share the potions and capsules with them so they have items when needed most. Of course you don't need to let them have EVERYTHING, but don't hog everything either, ESPECIALLY health capsules. Those should be divided amongst who needs them most if health is lacking.

2. Ask your teammates and discuss as a TEAM before opening a Danger Room door. Those fights are much harder then what you would expect for the floor you're currently on and it's rude to force your team into that situation by opening the door without their knowledge, thereby wasting valuable energy and potentially getting into a battle you can't win. And even if you're all in agreement, consider your current items and equipment and assess whether you think you can survive it without expending energy on revives. The rewards are well worth the battle, but not if you have to keep spending energy to come back to life over and over.

3. Before going to the next floor, make sure every member of your party is carrying a mineral, preferably the biggest one you can get your hands on. Minerals are shared by the party so if everyone carries a mineral, everyone gets the mineral that another player was carrying when the level is completed.

4. Plan ahead for ambushes. When you come to a party button in an open area, odds are it's going to be a brawl. Charge your primary weapon/place your bombs where you know the enemies will spawn, and raise your shield before starting the battle, and if you have any capsules and need health, use them. Always be prepared.

5. Before going to the next level, ask if anyone is going to leave after this floor. If so, kindly ask them to drop their vitapod and any capsules/potions they might be carrying. You can't take them with you, but your teammates could sure benefit from an extra health capsule or two, or that poison vial you never got around to using.

6. NEVER assume anyone will pay your energy tabs for you. If someone does, say THANK YOU. If someone revives you with energy, say THANK YOU. It goes a long way to know that their generosity is appreciated.

And of course, don't waste your energy on stupid things like treasure doors and robots. Danger Rooms are worth the price of admission, but make sure you and your team are all in agreement before opening that door, else the energy might get wasted, and so might you.

Hm

Note: Energy revives are supposed to be a last resource, even if your intentions are good, reviving teammates with energy will cause the revive cost to skyrocket for when it's actually needed.

1. Already do it to a certain

1. Already do it to a certain point.
2. Had someone open one without asking again earlier...I was going to kick them but I went along with it. We won but I still wasn't happy about it.
3. Already do it.
4. *drops freezing atomizer*
5. I don't bother with that one so much. Mostly if someone is leaving if we've been working for awhile, they'll mention it. It's not too bad to miss out on some items on nonessential floors.
6. I never do. I was surprised once when some guy did pass by and paid for mine. Also saying thank you for a normal revive is always nice too. I don't say thank you so much if I revive them and then I die, I consider it a mutual understanding then XD

(unnumbered 7?). I don't use it on robots, but I don't mind it on SOME treasure doors. Especially when my energy is not divisible by 5 or 10 (mainly 10). Odd numbered counts of things don't really do much to enhance your experience in this game. If I end up with 3 energy at the end of the day, I have to buy more, there's NOTHING I can do with that so I might as well had used it on a treasure door (especially if this is mist energy and you're leaving, you definitely have no reason not to).

Nice post ! I can rage about

Nice post !

I can rage about point 5. The other day I had joined a random party, they were halfway level 12. Next comes Basil, everyone checks recipes, I ASK if anyone is leaving (since many do after Basil, and I hadn't picked up anything yet, no potions, no vitapod). No response... We get on the elevator and guess what? Right... Maybe that particular person didn't know about dropping their things, but had they replied to my question "yes, i'm going up", I would have explained.

I also left a party once because of point 1... someone was hogging everything while saying that others wouldn't need stuff (this was a JK run and their idea was that only 1 person had to use potions, while others hack and slash... which might be true, but I like some potions myself. What happens if the 1-potion guy keeps dying/disconnects or lags out/accidentally throws half the potions at the wall?

Layka, about point 5, I could

Layka, about point 5, I could say the player just doesn't speak english at all, since you got no response, and supposing there were not a single word from him/her in all playtime.

Would like to highlight

Would like to highlight number three: MINERALS ARE SHARED. Don't complain about greedy people never letting you take the big one. ><

The unnumbered seventh point is kind of unnecessary... while the first six have the potential to influence others negatively, opening a treasure door has almost no detrimental effect to your team and the possibility of getting a token or material. (It could remove a wall that might've been used to bash things against, I guess?)

The whole thanking for a normal revive kind of irks me (both as the giver and receiver), though I'm probably an anomaly in this respect. Reviving people is an integral element to the game and is entirely expected behavior. Just as people don't thank each other for fighting, I don't see the need to stop walking/fighting to say so. Which, if the courtesy is repaid in kind, means the resser has to stop and reply as well. Just res as an opportune moment, get back in the fray and move on. (E-resses, which directly or indirectly cost real money, is a different case though as, well, somebody PAID to bring you back.)

@ ILHedgehogs: Possible, but

@ ILHedgehogs: Possible, but then, there are other-language servers for those people who don't speak English. If one really doesn't understand a word, then one shouldn't play on English-language servers, I really expect people to understand at least some basics (and "Is anyone leaving?" is pretty basic, no?). Speaking for myself, English is my 3rd language and it's really not that hard to learn, so yeah, I'm probably not very tolerant towards people who don't even try.

@ Shani: I agree on the part where saying thanks for a health-revive isn't necessary (after all the person who revives you profits from it too, taking 30% of your heat). But the OP specifically spoke about revives with energy.

I was under the impression

I was under the impression that the language-restriction was only for Haven and the gates were universal. Could be entirely wrong about that though.

One of the secondary posts mentioned thanking on normal resses.

As a side idea: When I'm running a full set of L10, I've offered to suicide on spikes and let other people take it if needed if we're right before a waypoint. After all, I don't need it.

I'd like to point this out again. While yes, it's nice to get a revive, all you're doing is making me pay double should I need to revive again. Most of the time, the better option is to revive one, and have that person revive others, using any health capsules that are available.

Treasure doors are not useless.

On opening treasure doors: Realize that if you're in a group of 3 and take turns opening said doors, they cost 1 CE for each door, as compared to 3. Which at current prices is around 40 crowns for opening a few treasure boxes. So really, these doors can be worth the time, especially if you get a grim / forge token. If you're really concerned that people won't reciprocate, try asking people to pay you part of the CE cost for the door.
