All that matters is relative crown payout. early missions give pretty bad crowns until RoF/SS. Also, a lot of the reason KoA is so popular is you don't waste energy on the levels before it in the arcade. I personally wouldn't mind if KoA had lower crown payout than normal FSC.

Nerf Mission FSC to at least 5k maximum output. That way the CE will be at a resonable price for all players (and stop the people from whining), it would also encourage arcade runs again.
If they do that ( and I really hope they do) we all have to make sure to praise that decision on the forums to drown out he inevitable whining about it.
Edit- even more lovely idea - lock boss missions after the first time you do them. That would bring the arcade back in a big way and remove the crown imbalance in one swoop.
Why not lock the missions once you've finished them entirely?
And make it like SLs where you can't join other players once they're in the missions floors.

Vanaduke = 50ce 8,000cr
Jelly King = 30ce 2,800cr
Snarbolax = 30ce 1,800cr (if im not mistaken)
Mist everyday we get 100mist energy

You know, that's a good idea - there's been a LOT of complaints about how there aren't nearly enough people in the Arcade. Doing this forces people into the Arcade.
Maybe you shouldn't lock the information/HoH missions though - people might need to go back to those.

Well, in his defense, you DID kind of make a post whining about his post whining. Both were equally ridiculous.
I like Bigfoot's idea of doubling the cost of Hall of Heroes recipes. Then enterprising players can sell every recipe again in order to split the difference between Basil and the HoH. It would also give Basil and the Arcade some much needed love.
If OOO were to do this, though, I'd appreciate a warning of a day or so before the patch hits...
On second thought maybe locking the boss missions isn't such a good idea. Already thought up a couple of exploits to that system.

I have always felt that being able to tele str8 to all bosses cheapens the game in huge way. Same with HoH.
In a game where players are desperate for new content and complain about being bored on a daily basis neither of these functions serve to promote any kind of longevity, quite the opposite in fact.

Besides, what happens when you need to call for help? You can hardly restrict/lock the party, which in turn would make locking the mission useless.
