Arguably, I said. Many others will pop into mind, but this armor set is the worst in terms of stats. It is the worst since it makes no apparent sense. Comparing it to armors that provide damage bonus vs monsters, these types of armors provide the defenses necessary for survival against that monster class. The Volcanic Salamander Set provides a Damage Bonus vs Slimes, yet no piercing resist. Arcane Salamander is even WORSE, since it slices the Damage Bonus into two: Beast and Slime. It provides NO PIERCING resist, yet it is considered to be effective against these two monster classes. There are other Sets out there that need some serious buffs, but this one needs some changing immediately.

Yep
It's arguably also one of the best looking suits in the game, but it sucks. Good for the costume though.

Worst set is Cobalt. No bonus, no status resist, not much extra defense compared to other lines. Nothing.
Only good part is free recipes.

Oh look.
You might be getting tired of me pushing this Idea around, but....
This is yet another reason that All non optimizer gear needs to be Brought in line with the Optimizer gear. Preferably though both Nerfs and buffs.
