Hi,

Just wondering which one is better. The Skolver coat or the Vog cub coat?
Faust or Avenger?
Dread Venom Striker or Hunting blade?
Grey Owlite shield or Dragon scale shield?
Combuster or Voltedge?
Magnus or Blight needle?

Please also tell me why.

Hunting blade or /Dread venom up to you
GREY OWLITE!!!!Dragon scale only resists piercing and i think something else its good if your doing beasts.
Voledge because it can shock them and temporarily stop them and damage them when it hits.

Processing Thoughts of You Always

I have a personal preference for Avenger. The curse ability of Faust is useful, but specialised in that it's only good against non-fiend, non-undead monsters that have piles of health. It excels against jellies, will make giant lichen colonies go down that much faster, and makes jelly boss fights a breeze; however, in pretty much any other circumstance an equivalent Nightblade-line sword will outperform it, damage-wise. Avenger also has a good crowd-controlling area charge in its 5* version, which will shunt a bunch of zombies halfway across a room and generate rage from your allies as it shoves them into their faces - oh wait, that's a bad thing...

Both Dread Venom and Wild Hunting... to be blunt, they suck and I wouldn't use either. However, if I had to pick one, it'd be Dread Venom Striker for its poison ability, something no other sword shares. Wild Hunting looks epic on the charge, but if I wanted to kill wolvers I'd pack a BTB and get extra damage against fiends as well as a hologram Snarbolax.

Dragon Scale looks good with its flamey animation, but it sucks, mainly because it doesn't have normal defence. Pretty much everything does SOME normal damage, unless you're being blown up by t3 gremlin demos or shot by constructs. Grey Owlite Shield is better; you get normal defence, as well as shock resistance. Go for Owlite.

Combuster is easier to get, and you will always get the full explosion. Voltedge does shock your opponents, which may stick them in place and lose some of the damage output on the charge. Other than that, they're identical and it's just a matter of which status you prefer.

The Magnus piercing line and the Autogun piercing lines don't work the same. The first will give you an attack that knocks down most enemies and moves very fast, preventing them from attacking if they are 'soft-bodied' (gremlins, wolvers, devilites and so forth). The second unloads a shitload of bullets, sticking you in place as it does so. Since a full clip has about 10 shots (although you'd need to check for the exact number), this can be painful. Both guns take some skill to use; it really depends what you plan to use it for. Sniping Wolvers? Get Callahan. Going up against Trolljans or Vanaduke? Pack a Plague Needle or Blitz Needle.

Faust or Avenger? Depends on

Faust or Avenger?
Depends on what you want to do. Faust is the better of the two for RJP, Avenger is better at IMF and FSC. I would personally go with the Avenger because of how common constructs are in the clockworks. It also has a better charge attack for large groups (FSC) at the 5* level.

Dread Venom Striker or Hunting blade?
Not much background in the Cutter line. From my experience though, I would recommend DVS because it is more versatile and good against JK. Status effect vs damage bonus. The damage bonus is negligible to the usefulness of poison.

Grey Owlite shield or Dragon scale shield?
Again, this depends on what you are going up against. They both have great fire resist (for FSC) and equal health and elemental protection. I would go with the Grey Owlite Shield because even though the normal defense is lower than the piercing of Dragon Scale, it is more useful in t2 and 3 as opposed to a predominant t3 shield.

Combuster or Voltedge?
I like both, but I have to go with Voltedge hands-down. In my opinion, shock is the most powerful status effect other than curse. It is also very useful in FSC.

Magnus or Blight needle?
Blight Needle, it's 4* and deals poison damage.
